More work is given only in mismanaged project or by poor manager. When anyone puts down paper managers by duty have to discuss with employee to retain them. Also their appraisal rating is tied with number of attrition. So this also motivates them to stop employee from leaving. Its a common practice across industry. If an employee is not going to be retained then a good manager finds replacement asap and transition outgoing employee work & reduce their dependency over course of notice period. At times when skill is very niche then manager may find it challenging to find replacement in timely manner and then maybe employee may find working equally hard till almost the last 1-2 weeks of their notice period.
Bhai Wipro to bilkul mat join karna. Wipro k pass projects nahi hai or wo bench par daal denge or as soon as you complete 45 days on bench, they'll start LOP(LOSS OF PAY). They won't give you salary for bench period and when you ask them for project, they don't have any project so how will you get any opportunity...
I was in Infosys... Super politics, super pathetic management specially they hold grudge against u. Company is no doubt a brand but the people they hired in top management is assholes
