Hi I would like to see what the Norma tipped 170 grain 300 WSM , because I always hunt November for whitetail in Canada province of Saskatchewan witch the temperature can be in the -30 Celsius .. and what can I expect from my point of aim , thanks in advance
Hi Harritolli66, as you can see in 7:59 remedially after the reload I uncock the rifle. The hunt was not over at that time and we saw a second seal close by. If someone approaches (a boat) as seen in scene 17:16 you do not see me reloading the rifle. What you can see is that the rifle is not cocked and I make sure that the unloaded, decocked gun is not directly pointing at the crew. The camera angle looks a little wilder than it actually was. I have a ? Why not send another round before the Moose takes off? Rules? Seems to me as for test to hunt,Hunt, should be as close as to how one would go about it. That to me is as quickly as can be ready for follow up shot if needed n send it. While am not as good as once was have seen could 1 more or maybe 2 before that Moose target started.. Believe you could have as well there.. Had to ask.. Keep things like this coming .. BTW Where's the Moose Shoulder Bone Gel Test
Agree.. Believe that rifle was a Blazer (Spelling may be off) didnt pay enough attention to the scope. I know this much it would nice to see some Good Ol Boys from here go there,n there Good Boys come here.
Congratulations to everyone there that can pass that test. But you do have some of the best ammo made. Non't sure how many here in the USA could pass it. Good video and great ammo.
@@petter5721 well thats one way to make sure people can shoot. We was raised in the hills and everyone grew up hunting and was taught gun safety early on and pretty much hunt as long as you able. I'm 71 and still Whitetail hunt every season but at a slower pace. Thanks for your reply and good luck this year.
@@IS0T0P3_90 No that is true, for Sweden, it is still yet a formal demand for most clubs/hunting teams, as I guess you do know about. I would say that the number of moose hunters in Sweden that does not pass this test is still rather high, however they are ever decreasing in numbers.
Beautiful stag, looking for some Whitetail 308 here in Kentucky US. A couple places was out but expecting to get some so looking forward to trying them. Great reviews on them.

Hitting the tricep about 2/3rds of the distance from the shoulder to the anterior edge of the body seems to be a good rule of thumb for most mammals. Probably makes some sort of evolutionary sense, keeping the heart tucked behind the forelimbs just in case.
Xo x dios haced las cosas bien. Cazáis en la Sierra De San Pedro, rodeados de jaras, encinas y alcornoques y nos calzáis un lance de un venao en un pinar que bien puede ser Cuenca, Soria, Guadalajara….en fin…que no pasa nada x no grabar el lance…xo de ahí a hacerlo así…
Bra kvalitet på videon osv, men kan ni inte visa en film när en kopparkula träffar mer rätt på vitala organ och inte skjuter ryggen av grisen? Kan ju inte vara för mycket begärt
