Great video in memory of Zoe! I lost my Humphrey in June after 12 wonderful years. I miss him so much but have many happy memories and lots of photos and some videos. Your video inspires me to do something like that in memory of him. Thanks.
As soon as I can after a rain You want to cultivate often Every couple days Kills the weeds as they germinate I try to plant no more than 2 rows of a plant that requires staking so only 1 middle to hand work Can cultivate the outside side of each staked row I use a weed eater to clean the inside middle of the staked row
My husband wants to get wide wing sweeps and replace our tine things with them. Will those work? Or do we need these rolling ones? We have some nasty persistent weeds.
Would be nice to have both Wide wing sweeps will not loosen the soil to give the amount you need to cover the small weeds in the drill( area you cannot plow) Sweeps are great in the middle I would use a 14” sweep in middle( like the ones behind my wheels) Use the rolling cultivator to work next to the row Buzzard sweeps (Layoff sweeps ) closers to row on first couple plowing
If you can find you a good Farmall Super A with a fertilizer attachment and a planter It will be a investment you will not regret Join some of the Farmall sites on face book good folks for the most part I personally hate Facebook but it is a wealth of information and networking from r the garden
@@ralphgatewood2862 that’s awesome! They are blessed! We already bought a Kioti.... but I’m thinking the “everything attachment” was the wrong implement for us....

@@ralphgatewood2862 I have been doing farming 7 acres about 3 years (I am a new farmer) but just used a Craftsman rear-tine tiller 18" (too much for it with 7 acre planting 🌽 and pepper...),so I have been trying to look for a multiple-duties work tractor to plant my sweet 🌽 a d cleaning weeds between spaces of each row because the tractor works faster....have a seat (no need to walk behind it like a small teller) ;it is very very tired to wall all day long behind a small teller and done only 1 acre per day...(suck) can u recommend me what size and what kind tractor best fits my as jobs? Thanks 1st ...
@@ralphgatewood2862 thanks for the info... I will looking for one Farmall to plant Corn seeds and tilling weeds with a fair price. Normally I know how to use a Walk behind tiller but new to a tractor 🚜,
