I am an artist and teacher who has been scrapbooking and paper crafting for over twenty years! Yikes, time flies when you are passionate about creativity. When not painting (my other passion), I am slightly obsessed with documenting life passing by and the role my family and I play in it. I love to photograph and capture special moments in time and save these memories to reflect on in the future. My workspace is always a creative jumble, layered with mixed media supplies, adhesives and paper until the teacher in me reigns me in and craves organisation!
Over the years, I have owned my own papercraft business, taught workshops to those young and old, worked the festival/conference trail, sold my artwork and had my work published. Now, it’s all about enjoyment and sharing my obsession with other passionate artists…until the next life adventure begins!

Thank you. Weather is awful here 36-38 degrees Celsius! Thunderstorms and lightning strikes are starting fires today! What’s a girl to do but stay in the aircon and craft with my kit, and hope the wind doesn’t send the fire our way.
Wonderful! Make sure that your base cardstock is a heavy and good quality cardstock for watercolour and mixed media usage. Do some small samples first to test it out, try not to apply the masking fluid too thickly, it needs a thin application. Make sure that you wash your brush as soon as your finish with it, as the fluid sets to rubber and ruins your brush. Watch a few videos for tips on using masking fluid, and to help with techniques. I like making cards most of all, but do dabble in other things such as sewing, machine embroidery, scrapbookig, knitting, I have a Cricut, Brother, and Silouette cutting machines, jewellery making, stamping and colouring with alcohol markets, pencils or watercolour that's all I can think of for now. Do you still teach or have any other hobbies? I think we both live in 2 beautiful places.
