About 15 months ago I was quickly becoming more and more disabled from being misdiagnosed by medical doctors, even highly reputable ones... and I eventually found an upper cervical chiropractor who uses a very similar technique as this to adjust atlas and it saved my life. In 3 months of getting adjusted I was significantly better but I can't hold the adjustment so am now getting prolotherapy to repair the lax ligaments and stabilize the cervical spine am finally am hopeful I will make a full recovery! 🙏🙏

@JacksonStar4757 18 дней назад
@@GoodTV285 oh really lol? Because I'm getting better! You can't strengthen your neck muscles if atlas is slipping out of place and disabling you bc the ligaments are damaged. There are no muscular attachments to atlas - the muscles attach to C2 and down so therefore they might affect the upper cervical to some extent but not that much. After my 4th prolotherapy I no longer had to wear my brace and I gained the use of my arms back... my muscles started to work again and I had done no exercise (bc I was incapable of doing so)... just the prolotherapy. My muscles still act up sometimes but it is not disabling me anymore and I can now do some mild exercises with my arms. Also I am not finished with my treatments yet either I've had 6 out of 9 and may need my thoracic and shoulders treated too

I'm so lucky to have been raised under Grostic care. Dr. Sweat, who developed AO, was my dad's best friend, and the two of them developed AO together out on the golf course! I was aguinea pig and got my first AO adjustment at age 17 in 1977. I always make sure my atlas in in alignment and it keeps me clear of all diseases and viruses! It's amazing when I'm out of adjustment and am having sinus headaches -- the get an adjustment and my sinuses drain right out, and the headache goes away! Also. if I feel like I'm getting a cold or flu, make sure I'm in alignment, and if I do get sick, it's short lived.

If you still have had no relief you might try contacting Dr. Joel Wallach (ND) at criticalhealthnews.com . I've been a fan of his for over 20 years and have listened to countless hours of his advice. He's the world's most famous ND and he's been all over the world giving speeches and seminars. His products are in over 90 countries and his advice is all over youtube. He has a $10,000 book in the Smithsonian! You can call them and one of the well-trained associates will give you free advice over the phone. They sell many mineral and herbal based products. This is the guy that taught the world ablout colloidal minerals in the 90's. I'm not a doc, but for listening for so long I could "guess" that the answer is that you might have osteoparosis of the skull. Yes, the skull can get very thick - over an inch! :-O I've confirmed that with a retired neurosurgeon. The skull can press on the cranial nerves causing 19 (or more) diseases - even what heart doctors think is heart disease! No, a $100,000 surgery won't fix your heart (if it is a brain problem) but medical doctors don't know that yet... That's the fallacy of Western non-integrative medicine. They treat the symptoms and not the person. That's why I listen to this guy! He's cured over 900 diseases and "sometimes" medical science catches up (like 50 years later). It's only been 2 years since the MD's admitted there is no link between high serum cholesterol and arterial blockage! Wallach knew that 50 years ago!! A compression of the 7th cranial nerve is what causes Bell's Palsy (face muscles drooped or locked). Shooting up C2-4 isn't gonna help your face. That nerve starts and stops in your head... You don't need surgery - or medical doctors. The Doc can most likely cure you with a few supplements. His motto is: "you've given the doctors a lifetime. Give me 90 days!"

AO docs ARE Chiropractors. You have to have a DC degree before you finish up at the AO Clinic in Georgia. My Chiro even hires massage specialists and has other modalities too. Back surgeons are the ones that need to lose their jobs... Once they have altered the neural pathways, Chiropractic can no longer work. So, it's a one shot thing. If surgery doesn't fix you than you are stuck that way forever. Wouldn't it be smarter to try the NON-invasive tech first?

Hi, I'm a female in early 30, have always been healthy, into sports. The only issue I had was the disc protrusion at C5-C6. About 7 weeks ago, I visited a chiropractor in my area to receive an upper cervical spine treatment (C5-C6) and I believe he did something like this on me. I was lying on the belly and coudn't see what he was doing. He clicked somewhere near the base of the skull and I have felt pain and vertigo immediately. I have been down with a severe vertigo (something is off with my balance perception to the left) since then, every single day. I still have pain at the base of the skull and I have been seeing all kinds of neurologists, went to er twice, tried physical therapy last week- nobody knows what's wrong with me and I am already giving up on life. I'm not sure what to do next, could you please give me an advice? MRI is not showing anything abnormal, other than C5 stenosis (the usual). I remember this chiropractor was saying smth about my head tilting to the left, instead of to the right as it should be (in either case, I was perfectly healthy before his manipulations). Could it be that he tried this trick on me?

Just another "alternative" way to rip you off! But be careful because unlike homeopathy this is a very DANGEROUS one and can damage you for good! Dear Andrew, the link you provided from the Society of Chiropractors to validate your practice is the same as if a homeopath provided the link from Society of Homeopaths to validate homeopathy as official medical routine. I want to warn people: if you think you have a problem with your neck, go to a medical specialist- orthopedic, neurologist, if there is a need for surgery or some procedure they will know and they will perform it. Don't let such a serious thing in hands of pseudo doctors and shamans! It's very dangerous! There's been lot of cases when they made more damage than good leaving people with REAL subluxation and dislocation of vertebrae!
@haugchiropractic
@haugchiropractic 8 лет назад
+milenatos No, it was a link to an article about a research paper that was published in a peer reviewed medical journal. It involved over 100 doctors and 1000 patients. I worked for many years within a medical doctor's office. He did pain management. Over time, a lot of the patients improved and got off of dangerous drugs. BTW, prescribed pain bills kill at least 15k people a year and over the counter pain pills kill more than another 15k a year. Chiropractors .... not really. 100k deaths a year to mistakes in surgery. 100k deaths a year to mistakes in medication ..... are you sure that you want to send people to medical doctors for saftey? BTW the numbers I quoted are from New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA. Maybe the two best medical journal.

Virtually every profession has its risks, and yes, there are good and bad doctors, devoted and reckless, wrong diagnostics, wrong therapy, surgeries gone wrong...and yes, occasionally there are the fatal outcomes- guess why? Because real doctors deal with REAL problems, REAL diseases and REAL procedures that carry risks! Yet, to minimize the chances I'd rather not let someone with the weekend course messing anywhere near my neck! The procedure about the neck is serious thing and should be done only if 3d scan of spine actually shows the subluxsation, it is done in the real hospital, in the real surgery room, with total anesthesia, under the preview of x-ray (to keep the spinal cord safe) and it is covered by social security. If something is not covered by the social security- it is a RIP OFF and a not necessary procedure (as for example boob enlargement). I know that in the States the things work different with medical bills, I am telling about Europe. Chiropractic are not covered by social security, it is just another new-age bullshit for spoiled upper class hippies...

+milenatos This will be my last reply. This particular method that this post is about, "Atlas Orthogonality" has been around since 1978. It comes from another technique that started in the 50's called Grostic. In that time, there has NEVER been a documented fatality from anyone using these particular procedures ..... EVER! You called it DANGEROUS. That is simply not true. Then you give the benefit of there being good mds and bad mds ... however, all Atlas Orthogonal chiropractors are bad. To be an Atlas Chiropractor, I have completed 8 years of college and over 60 seminars on atlas adjusting not just a "week end cruise". Most Atlas Orthogonal chiropractors are very dedicated to patient care. I gave you references to published research and that is not good enough for you. I guess that you just want to say what you want to say regardless of its validity. Nothing, I show or say will be good enough for you. I suspect that you never have been to an Atlas chiropractor but seem very confident in bashing it. If you want to be fair about it, you could at least admit that you know very very little about Atlas Orthogonal or Atlas chiropractic. Also, that you don't know how safe or dangerous this method it. You don't know what education we have. Also, the study that I linked you to shows that we do treat people with serious conditions and help them in a very short period of time with very few adjustments.

@@MyFriendlyCrow Exactly - those spouting BS are fast to run away... Just ask Montel Williams about the only docs that could cure him - and he certainly has the means for ANY doc.

I have a much more severe torqued neck and vertebrae accident from 8 years ago with months in and out of hospital and thousand of dollars in medical bills. I have to press on my anterior of the neck and crack it tiny bit by bit with friends (when I can get one) to press on my chest to stop the protruding of my neck forward for otherwise I would be dead! I live in barbaric suffering diffused throughout my body and used the machine mentioned above but it did not fix everything. I wish everything was that easy and fast. Scar tissue also happens and Graston is what I had to do for about a dozen times.

b, very sorry to hear about your suffering. Graston is good work. Where are you located?

Thanks Kris, this is correct. The Atlas Orthogonal instrument is like a Newton's Craddle where one ball hits five balls on stings and only the last ball flies and the end.

@@laurenbryan4121 I don't see this in St. Louis - but "kind of" close. maybe you should look at IL. too. My first Chiro was in St. Louis but that was years before this stuff. AO works much better than the 4 traditional chiros that I have had. atlasorthogonality.com/Doctors/missouri/
