Listening to the original you want to have fun with the song, but listening to this cover you just want to sob from the unbearable inner pain that eats you
i don't even know at this point. it's not really "low fidelity" lofi anymore haha. The word has lost its meaning, it's now all about study beats, chill beats, or wtv. So I guess it'd be more chill hop?
do you have different reverbs for different parts of drumkit? i`m not ableton user so can`t understand in video. i mean different instances and types of reverb for percussion, kick etc or is it just one fx bus and different send level?
Ok so if you look at bottom right. You have 3 return tracks "A Reverb", "B Delay", "C Saturation". I am sending the full drums to the 3rd one "C Saturation" which is where I have the saturation, reverb, compressor, gate, etc. For example on the (blue) track "9 Kit-Core" you see on the right the volume and panning (-6 and C) and right under, there are 3 send levels. I am sending for this track -14 to the 3rd return track which would be the "C Saturation". Everything is pretty much going to that which has the gated reverb and I am sending depending on how much I want it to be present there the 2 percs tracks have sends to A Reverb, which just has a basic reverb with a decay if 1.8s because they are background elements
Appreciate that! Who says I stopped? (I kinda did, but mostly I just stopped uploading and I have so many tracks started in all sorts of styles) 😅 I've just never been very frequent at this stuff. I'd upload consistenly 1 month, drop off for years, delete all, restart uploading, etc
