Shame it came with a faulty transmitter, but maybe revisit this one in a future video and just install your own brushed esc and independent receiver and run it off a Dumbo RC transmitter or similar and give it another go for a fair test run, that way it would be like buying the Kit version.
Great little boat for the money, were you running 3s. Just that another reviewer said his boat wouldnt work on 3s, but ran on 2s ok. Did you run with the Dumbo giro turned on or off, couldn't quite hear on the vid if the giro was turned on.
They were some close passes! 😳😅 what a great deal... a little more grunt than the WLtoys 916 and all the metal parts out the box... great affordable option 👌 cheers 👍

I said you needed an esc and pointed at the reciever lol, all you need is the reciever and radio it comes with an esc , and I noticed is a Seaking esc!
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 yea I will for sure but won’t be for a while funds are pretty low and I won’t be able to get it till this time next summer but there will be a few more videos on it.
Hi I have bought one of these trikes , the instructions says you can put it in high speed gear as comes in slow speed mode from factory. Also says the led light can be turned off , I can’t work out how to do this , please can anyone help😊
I haven’t run my boat yet, but seems it doesn’t have much steering range using the transmitter even in full rate. I can move much further by hand when powered off. Anyone else notice this?
Love this 👌 I have been contemplating trying a 3s in mine, I have 2 of these and they are pretty good as they are but thanks! you saved me frying mine!! 😂 but like you said it’s the perfect excuse to upgrade it to a 3s brushless system 💪

That's a possibility. Although it never came close to looking like capsizing. I'm not going to say that's impossible, though. It was a very stable boat. 👍
@@IsaacSchultz-lz8jc I really ,really tried to get it to capsize, one pontoon out of the water a few times, but was surprisingly stablemit's more a trimaran or pontooned monohull,so can carve corners a lot more than with a true catamaran I think, is an interesting hybrid hull shape tbh
These boats look like good fun for the money and I like the catamaran race boat styling! Interesting how that cooling works, I noticed the Jet Jam doesn't have any
