I added Fat Mat sound deadening material to the area around the back seat, and the back wall (I have the XP5 Northstar) and also to the exterior of the back wall. It helped out quite a bit with the noise, I also installed 3/4" thick rubber stall mats for floor mats and those helped a lot with the noise. In the ADV5 I bet if you remove the back seat and install the sound proofing materials to the tunnel area, floorboard and the rear cargo area, then put the rubber stall mats in the floorboard and cargo area it will help out a bunch with the noise. We rode about 15 miles down the road for Bloody Mary's last Sunday, had an 84-year-old farmer in there with us and we all could carry on a conversation with not really yelling.
Chief I think you should probably just sell that Pro R since it hasnt seen a go pro in the last 9 of 10 videos. I'm starting to think that Expedition is your BFF now 🤣 Seriously tho I Love the Dudes and the channel, just would like to see some more Pro R content!
What exactly was done suspension wise? I heard limit straps, springs, and forks front along with rear arms (wouldnt expect the sway bar links to do much). Anything else?
Love my Cardo Headsets hurt the ears after a bit but I found if you're stopping n talking there great. I use them on my zero turn mower also. Plus I use the unit (pack talk edge) I swap to my full face sportbike helmet or helmets when I'm riding with my boys & even riding in triple digits I can talk on the phone & the other person doesn't even know I'm on my bike. Lol Great Video sorry to ramble on.
Those aftermarket assassin mufflers must be the worst sounding exhaust in the game, like a Honda car with a blowout or it's made of empty soda pop cans?
So in Florida where I just moved from to Lake City, this is all we rode. Swamp riding. But everyone is also lifted and gear reductions. I’d rather ride fast trails and slide ways haha Pushing gators and snakes out of the water can stay in Florida haha Great video brother. Looking forward to the 19th-20th 🤙🏼
I'm from Florida and I can't imagine having a SxS there. No where to ride and when you do it's all wet and muddy. I moved to AZ and I use my SXS more than both my cars combined.

@@bobc8694 yessssssir! Thank you Bob! I have a lot of respect for you my friend! Since I e been here and since I’ve found the Dirt Dudes channel, I’ve seen you and what you can do on a lot of videos. I don’t own a machine yet. I have my wife and 21 yr old sone here so I was thinking about a Pro R 4 or S 4 But, $38K is crazy to me. I’m looking for the Best Buy used if you have any suggestions. @kennybeaudrie9021 After owning both of those machines.. I'd highly recommend to save up and go with a pro-r not even a turbo r. In my opinion these two machines are very close and do have the same front suspension. But the back has shorter trailering arms and a few other different parts that make a turbo r basically just a pro xp. But with better suspension but it is heavy than a pro xp.. But the pro R is not like any other Machines out there in my opinion.. It just handles the big pumps and jumps so good. It can make a not so good driver and make them look like a pro.. my pro xp. Has under a thousand miles and is realy trick out with oem and aftermarket accessories and parts for performance and longer engine life... PRO-R IS DEFINITELY POLARIS'S KING OF THE HIL!!! My pro xp was faster than my stock pro-r was. And I still lost interest in the pro xp. And now with the Turbo on it there's just nothing like it.. look forward to meeting you when you move up this way. When you go to buy a machine if you have any questions feel free to call me at the shop... also if buying new get the cheaper sport model with the power and suspension as the others basically... and I see way to many electrical issues on the other models.. so not only cheaper but less junk to cause problems...take care.....Bob....
Duders…… so my wife asks me everyday around lunchtime, “are you getting you Dirt Dudes time in yet or can I have a project done today ?” 😂 Been binging on videos…. Trying to see where y’all ride. With me in Lake City, about 1/2 mile from the Mc D’s y’all stopped at, I’m stoked to see so many places to ride. I hear machines rippin close to my house all day and some evenings.
