So far find this lock style better than the ones you reach inside fhe cupboard to push down, those break so easily. So far these ones seem to hold up good
I have installed nearly half a dozen car seats, this is easily the worst system anchor mount for a car seat. It's so bad the 2nd worst one is MUCH better than this piece of shit.
My question is how the seatbelt is used in the car. It says "read your vehicle owners manual" but I don't think that accurately talks about how to buckle a lap/shoulder belt, like if any special belt routing should happen around the seat.
I have a Nuna executive in our SUV that costs about $800. I purchased this carseat as an extra when my parents or siblings want to take my toddler out. This carseat is terrible compared to the Nina. it doesn't seem safe. There should be a locking mechanism that smashes the seatbelt into the carseat. It makes me really sad that people who can't afford the $800 carseat are stuck with this crap. It's dangerous. It's not fair.
I found this video to figure out the booster seat mode and whether or not to still use the safety latches to anchor the seat to the car, but they didn't say anything. Does anyone know? Hard to believe this heavy seat is just supposed to stay in place with the lap belt alone.
Question i was given one turned to you tube to figure it out saw your post. Mine does not have the screen part that attaches to the handles. Seems I was not given this part . Is there any use for this without that piece or was I given something useless . Thanks
Amd I wish an owners Manuel came with it. I'm looking into this product most likely made over sees or a company who decides to buy overstocked junk and sell it online never buy this product people you wl have just been scammed.
THANK YOU to every person who suggested sitting in the seat to get the last bit of slack out of the belt. It is tight as a drum now! I feel much better about the install than I did when I started this process an HOUR ago.
Can not see anything, like the other reviewer I tried on 18 month old, 6 year old and my 38 year old husband and there is nothing in focus to see! This is garbage.
Zero chance this thing tightens up to less then 1 inch of play on either side. Lady in the video is putting no effort into trying to move thing. This seat is awful and unsafe.
How do you put the straps back on? I had to take them off to wash because my baby threw up on them. She threw up on the whole car seat and I can't remember if I assembled it correctly.
FML. I assumed this could be converted to a backless booster. This is the same thing as before, just with the car seatbelt instead of the belt on the actual car seat. Definitely seems less safe.
How does it seem less safe? It’s keeping them the correct height, it keeps the seat still in the auto, all you’re doing is replacing the harness with the lap and shoulder belt.
As KevGrand13 mentioned several months ago...run the slack end of the strap up through the hole where the cup holder would be sitting. Made a world of difference for me.
Yo creo que es un mal producto, hize lo mismo y está nuevo, sin embargo cuando giro curvas mi niña casi se voltea con todo y el asiento. Tengo a mi otro bebé en un graco y no me sucede eso. Muy mal producto
This car seat is absolutely garbage. Do not buy it if you care about the safety of your children at all. It doesn't tighten to being safe at all no matter what you do. Buy literally anything else.
