At that time it was all about "Star Trek", "Jaws", "Battlestar Galatica", "Miami Vice", "Back to the Future 1", "Psycho" and other popular shows and movies trending back then ! I live in Puerto Vallarta and it is extremely safe! Don't be afraid to venture out! The beach is in walking distance from the port and another great place to visit is the Malecon (asked to be dropped at the PV sign then walk in either direction for interesting shops and restaurants to visit. You can access the beach from there as well). You can get a taxi there (cash only) or take an Uber. Hope this is helpful to anyone who's visiting soon!

Thanks for your comprehensive review of both CN & CSA. We have only been to CN (6 times every other year) and wondered if we were missing out by not trying CSA. What we particularly enjoy about CN first is its relative small size, then the food and next the beach.

I would have thought you’d practiced for month. Impressive considering you guys are just “regular” tourists, and haven’t been living in Denmark.
