Thoughts and talks on and around literature, creative writing, social and cultural issues, (suitable for Farsi speaking audiences.) Sasan Ghahreman is an Iranian-Canadian novelist, poet, educator, social commentator, stage actor and director, and social-documentary (street) photographer. Studied Performing Arts in Iran and English Literature and Sociology in Canada, he is also the founder of Cafe Renaissance Academy of Alternative Art & Literature, founder and director of Afra Publishing Co. (1995) founder and editor-in-chief of Sepeedar (Socio-Cultural Monthly-1992/2000), editor-in-chief of Gozaar (bi-lingual webzine dedicated to Human Rights and Democracy in Iran-2006/2009) and section editor in several other media outlets. Residing in Toronto since 1984, Ghahreman is currently running a series of workshops on Creative Writing while working on his new novel and a few other books and photography projects.
