Importantly Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways actually put their partners in the United States to shame AA/AS and UA. If you have a destination to Southeast Asia like Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport you are better off taking both the Japanese JL/NH over PR. If you side JL A35K to RP-C3509 and up you you are going to find out Japan Airlines has the better version same is actually said for its partner in Hong Kong beating Philippine Airlines
Amenities in the bathroom are lacking compared to the same bathroom on the other videos I have seen of this plane. The one small pump bottle looks like it’s empty., not good.
I hope next year to experience. Last time I booked SQ but in Business class had to chancel as my chemo started on the day I was due to fly. Oh well if it is going to happen it will and all the better for waiting for 😀🙏🤞
These particular little pancakes are of Eastern European origin and are called "Blini". With origins from Russia and the Ukraine; they're usually served with delicacies like Caviar and fine smoked Salmon. Btw: In all my travels, I've never seen someone hold a knife in their left hand when eating. That has to be the most exotic thing I've ever seen at a supper table. Did the hostess set the knife at the table like that? 😏

Apart from the caviar, everything looks the same in business class. Perhaps better champagne selection. All the amenity kit is the same in business. Qatar could have done better than this for First class.

I’m a Japanese American, and NO expert in Japanese culture. That being said, I was taught that you dip the fish part, not the rice part in the soy sauce. Some people put the wasabi on top of the sushi, some people mix it in the soy sauce. Not sure which is the correct way. But I say, if you’re not in some kind of traditional setting, enjoy it whichever way you like.

The air stewards and stewardesses are the heart of any flight, they work so hard and are so knowledgeable. My ex sister in law was a British Airways stewardess, some of the stories about ungrateful, entitled (or in their own world) passengers who treated airline staff as servants really annoyed me.
All that wasted electricity and space in the lounge for what? How many people did they think would use first class? There's 100s of chairs and amenities it's obscene in today's society when we are trying to reduce waste and load, and trying to cut carbon footprints. One rule for the rich and one for the poor, and it's the poor who pay every time.
Qantas was once a real force for good on the Australian corporate landscape. In just a few short years they have completely trashed their reputation in Australia and now have First and Business Class products that are woeful in comparison to other airlines that are their near competitors on similar routes. Contrast their First and Business with Singapore and Emirates for example. Qantas are far behind the rest and they are generally more expensive too. C'mon Qantas...lift your game and lower your prices.
