Nothing beats a fab Southern-fried, Country -Rock band that experiments with Jazz-fused Progressive Rock!👽 I haven't listened to this album in years.

Steve was a talented musician prior to Skynyrd. Love his early stuff, it shows what a great song writer and performer he was. He certainly brought a new spark to Skynyrd after the great Ed King left leaving a void, So sad his talent was cut so short :(

How do you sound bad ass and beautiful at the same time?!! You’re Leslie West and form this band. If even possible it got even better when Felix Pappalardi came on board and created Nantucket Sleighride. One of the greatest albums I ever heard! Should be more known!

About 1989 I bought their best of album when all I’d ever heard was Mississippi Queen. This song and Theme for an Imaginary Western blew me away so hard I couldn’t believe it. Stunning and there’s nothing like it.
