Omg, just did this the pain gone down been suffering over 2 months . Not completely gone but feels abit better will continue to do this everyday Thank you
Thanks for letting us know. Sometimes inflammed bursa don’t like compression from stretching and the roller. Maybe try a hard ball into your butt muscles up against a wall or in crook lie instead. 👍
I bought a Therma bar and use it to massage my arm by finding the area on the forearm thats painful and rolling my arm over the Therma band back and forth. It has ridges. It is painful but after a few minutes my elbow pain and forearm pain is completely gone. I do this 3 times a day.
Likely not. You could have a lateral femoral nerve entrapment. Try doing a thigh muscle stretch instead. Your doctor could help in diagnosing your problem. 👍
A year ago now I had a bad fall and felt something in either my hip or lower back crack. Two days later my right leg was completely paralyzed. I went to the ER and they rushed me into surgery that day. I ended up severing a nerve cluster to my right leg and they were able to repair it to function again but I still have extremely little feeling in it. I can walk, I just cant tell if my bath is hot or cold or if my cat is clawing my leg. I've been scouring RU-vid for some exercise tips for rehab after the surgery and this video gives me a little hope. My lower back is still paralyzed and I have to use a walker just to get around. My legs work, my upper body works, but there's a disconnect at the waist where nothing works. Bladder, bowel, other important things. It's been life altering. I still get up and walk as often and as far and Im able to though. Going to try this routine out and hopefully regain a little independence.
Wow, keep fighting to gain more function out of your body! These are gentle initial exercises, so they are fine to try. Best of luck with your recovery
Pain over the sit bones can be bursitis or tendinitis of the hamstring. Definitely avoid exercises where your hips flex until it settles. Try some lying leg curls to build up hamstrings strength. 👍
Had severe tennis elbow 4 months ago - cortisone shot provided great results - but now feel the pain returning - How many times a day should I be doing this massage ?
i have mytonia congentia --- it took misdiagnoses of tmj and going to THREE maxiofacial Drs for the last one to finally say, there is nothing wrong with your joint, it is a muscle issue. Then it took a couple more years after that for a Dr to order geneticist testing and found out widespread muscle pain (including jaw sometimes) was from M.C!
We suggest for each exercise that you do 20 repetitions of each exercise then rest 30-60 seconds. Repeat this two more times. Hope this helps you get strong for your ski trip 👍
The best thing to do is to strengthen up all the muscles around your elbow, especially the ones that extend your wrist. Jump onto our RU-vid channels and search our elbow videos for the best exercises 👍
Hello sir...when i sleeping position or standing position leg paining.but walking working not paining.if i walk very relaxing of my legs.but sleeping position paining..what kind of excercise need
Dear Matt, I have gone through lumber disectomy of L4-l5 and L5-S1.It has been 20 days now but my numbeness is still the same with a very minor change to normal.please guide me what should i do to make it normal.
20 days is still early. It can take months for your sensation to improve. Hang in there and do your exercises and keep moving. It’s very likely you will improve over the coming months 👍
Skiing is such great fun. If you get the opportunity then take it! These exercises ideally should be started 6-12 weeks before your ski trip to get your muscles ready. Go for it!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Can you please comment on the number of reps and how many sets of each exercise / how long to plank for? Just by a way of gauging progression
Oh my gosh. My jaw has been hurting so bad and definitely wasnt closing evenly. I just did this and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! 🎉❤🎉 Thank you so much for this content!!
With our surgeons protocols we start these exercises for most people after 1 week. Always best to get the ok from your surgeon if you are unsure you are ready to start them this early. Best of luck
thank you so much for sharing you knowledge and uploading the most helpful tips and exercises greatly appreciated many thanks I am just recovering after lumber diseconomy surgery thank you from Dublin,Ireland
It’s been six months since my wife underwent l5s1 mis tlif surgery But she still feels pain in her back What can she do better to relax her back? And get relief in her lower back Thanking you in advance
These exercises could be a good start. Surgery is usually to help leg symptoms but there can be residual back pain. Keeping your back flexible and your core strong is the best way to manage your back. Check our other videos to get more exercises. Best of luck
@@MyphysiosaAuAdelaide the quad. Got hip checked in training. Soccer. I can’t run without pain. Walking no problem. I iced and compressed. Just curious what else I can do at home to rehab. Muscle contusion, quad.
@@roccosage8508 after day 3 you can do gentle self massage on your quad using oil/cream, gentle quad stretches to the point of pain and start some chair squats (minimal pain allowed). When you can walk pain free , then start cycling, and other gym strength exercises After a few weeks you might be ready to start running again. Best of luck. 👍
