What a bodger .. using a cheap adjustable wrench and pliers to take apart this airfryer. The only thing missing was not using a claw hammer! .. All I can say is .. don't work on any of my appliances.
As mentioned below, it needs to be turned clockwise to loosen. Hold the fan blade with a glove. Even so, the metal on the fan blade is so soft I stripped it out. Had to put some wd40 on the nut and let it sink in for 10 minutes before it would loosen for me.
dont open that handle like that. there are 2 more screws under the lid that needs to be unscrewed first. he is just salvaging the switch for other purpose.
Poor tear down of this as this only shows the wrong direction to undo the fan nut which should be turned clockwise to unscrew making this video totally useless
I give anyone credit for trying. For the many comments about how he bludgeoned it. That is true, but I think it's safe to believe that he didn't want to do that. I have a Sharper Image one and the screw will not come off. I definitely won't do what he did.
I need to remove the fan to get to the wiring and thought I would see how to do it but you just fucked the whole thing up !! Anyone know if it is a left hand thread or not ??
That sucks. I just bought a new Rosewill halogen oven. I hope mine lasts longer than that. Those bulbs should last a long time. I had a Flavorwave Turbo convection oven, used it every single day for a few years and the bulb never burnt out.
@@averageguy1261 The motor stopped or the light bulb stopped working?? If the motor stopped and you've had it for 1 year or less, I would contact the manufacturer. Let me know how it goes.
I have one, but the heating is coiled instead of halogen. Last halogen one I had went into the trash when it blew out. The bulb cracked and glass went inside my food. Will never buy one again.
