Can someone tell me if I need the elixir of coalesced regret buff in order to interact with the serra'kis corpse? I spoke with the cultist corpse and had to travel to the raid. But I got teleported away after 60 seconds so I couldn't interact with serra'kis. I will try tomorrow again but I won't have the buff anymore. Do I need it for serra'kis?
you only need the pot to talk to the dead twilight guy outside. once you go through the text prompt it doesn't matter what happens to the potion. to get to the underwater area you need at least 5/7
@@AscalonTV1 so if i speak to the tauren with the elixir one day, then i do the raid the next day, without the elixir, ill still be able to talk to Serra'kis, correct?
not sure if there's a hidden timer or anything that is triggered after the chat prompts at the tauren. just to be safe i'd do the entire thing in one day but i dont know if it will actually prevent you from doing it like you want@@SkyraStyles
Approves of rank decay changes because you can take breaks, but does not approve of the solution to bracketing because: 1. People will just spam AV because it's the most honor-efficient 2. Everyone will have their r13 &r14 gear in phase 1, and will have no reason to do anything at all until Phases 5 & 6 3. Botting will be insane; people will just buy r14 accounts because they'll be so plentiful 4. While the solution gets rid of the toxicity and silliness of brackets, it also turns it into a solo farm game
My #1 concern as well is just obsoleting 90% of the game and people stop logging in. I think all S tier trinkets should go to the end boss of the raid. ToEP for Rag, MQG+whatever else to Nefarian. There might be a solution outside of modifying the PvP system they've come up with. Maybe create some off-pieces that would be BiS for PvP and also throw them into a chest after the final boss of raid, Just spitballing--raids have to be incentivized in some way or the game just dies. Since your rank never decays, they could also add tokens to end-raid bosses to the "cost" of R12-14 items so you at least have to raid a bit (1 per raid per player, then you need at least 6 to finish your set, which you can do also while you rank). Or put a gigantic trove of LIPs/FAPs/etc. after final boss in a raid is cleared or split per boss. Ranking absolutely should not be out on release. People hitting f* R11 while level 50 on SoM because they PvP'd for a day at level 30 and level 50 was so idiotic. (Well on second thought, the static caps mostly solves this, but still, should come out at least ~1 month after).
yup. everyone always asks "why are ppl just raidlogging" well the answer is the good stuff is too easy to get. ranking on release would make everyone run around with r14 weapons before they see their first rag kill and most classes arent gonna need upgrades until naxx. while i dont dislike the new system, it shows blizzard is being conservative with their changes. i actually expected a complete overhaul and not just a simplification of the ranking system. either way, changing gear rewards or whatever is gonna need a lot of care and fine tuning, something i dont think they're ready to do (yet?).
you dont have to do the jump like he did, just wait for the imps to come up all the way the ledge and than go to the evade spot next to the hole in entrance than you have to wait for the imps to be in line of sight an rain them down
this kill the toxic and corrupt politics you had to deal with in the past when you tried to rank and i'm all for it. i have to admit tho, it will be weird af seeing 90% of the server run around with r14 weapons and gear kek
You didn't mention that with this system the rank 11 mount is completely broken since you don't need to get the normal one for 1k gold since u rank so fast. The epic mount in vanilla is a big achievement that gets completely ruined with this new system imo.
well if you only pvp you will never get gold for a mount, so this is a nice way for players to receive a mount for pvp. it also incentivizes players to play pvp. and as the poster above said it still takes a long time to grind to r11, so it's not like it's free. i would still like to see blizzard implement something against the devaluation of the epic mount though. i am curious to see what happens. all in all a good change
@@AscalonTV1 Maybe a solution would be to remove the R14 one handed weapons. Don´t know how good that would work, but Warriors and Rogues would have to raid to get weapons then and no longer have naxx-gear equivalent damage. The weapons should be what u use for pvp only in my opinion, and basically be worse then raidgear for pve content (Just picking warris und rogues as example cause theyre the most benefitting from r14 imo)
