My high school adult class teacher said “you should have sex before you get married” to prevent traumatized sex. First time need a right people to have each other. Obviously guy can just do it with any girls (but they prefer hot ones) but it is not about promiscuity, it’s about their mental health. Yes, this is so true. People have a harder time mastering connection with one person the more they hook up with different people. It could get to the point where feelings of care for anyone diminishes. This may be a lengthy story about my experience for anyone reading... I remember going on a cruise vacation with my sister last year, when we were 19 yrs old meeting this one guy (24 yrs old). I met him at a cruise pizzeria. He seemed a bit religious but also intimidating. However, me and my sister started talking to him more after he said he lived in Louisiana. (That is where me and my sister's dad was born and raised with his family.) He also said that he was vacaying with a few people, but mentioned no one in particular. That, of course, didn't bother me. That's when things didn't seem weird at all, until he would appear in places he realized me and my sister would be (places like 18+ deck parties) and would continously pursue me. (Me and my sister are both Christians but wanted to see how it was like being at the club as a duo. However, we stayed away from sex as we wanted to wait until marriage.) He said he kept looking for me everyday after he met me. I had no idea why he did that at first. He would spend nights walking around the ship with me and my sister, eating pizza, and would talk about our lives (despite him not saying too much about his.) There was even a time where he would walk with me and my sister to let us get some things from our room. He would blatantly disrespect me and my sister and would ask me when my sister would leave. I wanted to always be around with my sister because we don't normally hang out much. (She lives away from me.) At some point he got impatient leaving me and my sister out of nowhere as we wondered what happened. That's when we decided to brush it off and move forward with our vacation. Fast forward to the last the day of vacation, he went to my room, while i was on the balcony talking to my dad, and asked my sister where I was. My sister said I was out. He got excited the second she said that and left to go find me. She didn't even get to tell him that I was on the balcony. She told me what happened 30 minutes later. I was happy to know that he still wanted to hang out. I felt bad for whatever made him angry the last time we talked. I wanted to hang out with him even more, for the last day at least. I never got to do that. Although, me and my sister bumped into him walking with another girl that night. She seemed sad. He saw me and my sister and instantly tried to string her away from where we were. I still brushed it off while hearing my sister saying "that girl could actually be his partner." I didn't want to believe her because it was hard to grasp at the time. The day we left our vacay I was sent a text message from him telling me that he was looking for me and he wanted to sneak me to his room to have sexual intercourse. I was suddenly livid and told him that i never intended to do that with him. He explained even further that he was sneaking away from his sleeping girlfriend every night just to find me. I was in so much shock and even angrier at this news. I felt so bad knowing I never ever want to ruin anyone's relationship. I told him that I wondered why he would hurt his girlfriend like that. He replied saying "it's not what you think." He said that I was supposed to be for a good time, not a long time and said goodbye. I wasn't mad that he didn't want me. I was mad he would hurt his own girlfriend. That's when I had a feeling that he cheated on her regularly. I felt sick and had to find out who this jerk was. He was a scruffy 2 faced liar dating a very beautiful 21 year old girl. They were in a 2 year relationship. She could even pass as an exceptional supermodel. She was very religious, she was very successful in college, very talented, very smart, and had a lot of friends. She even matched the description of the woman he was walking with when me and my sister bumped into him unnoticed by her. On social media she was 5'9, had pretty blue eyes, shoulder length brown hair, tanned skin, a bright smile, and a face of glowy freckles. She was "That Girl" in her school. As a matter of fact, he was actually on that same vacation celebrating her 21st birthday on that same week he met me and my sister. Fast forward January of this year, he is now engaged to the same girl of 2 years that he tried to cheat on using me.. I know this is a long story, but I wanted to show how terrible the hook up culture can be through my viewpoint. I hope to save someone from having premarital sex. God saved me that day I was supposed to give into that guy. I know this was not the first time he has done this to his romantic partner. He has gotten used to cheating on her that even remorse has left his body. Only if I could tell her what happened that week.... I pray for her every night I go to sleep hoping she finds someone better because it's very hard to change someone that vexed. Once you marry someone like that it's hard to get out of that loophole of being the wife to a man of infidelity. Trust me... I know a few people in that same scenario..☹️
I know. We average guys have to deal with this crap from guys like this on a regular basis. The fact that most women pass us over in their 20s for guys who do that and then act like all men are cheaters is a large part of the reason why I gave up on women, especially women my own age (I just turned 25). You still should've told the girl what this guy was doing. The problem is, the good women don't seem to want good men either. If they did, the "friendzone" wouldn't be a thing.
@Hammerhead137 Oh, I know that there are good men out there. I believe that depending on how women feel about themselves can influence how we pick our potential lovers. Especially when we are in our teens and early 20s. We don't heal from any relationships, and we think that we are okay for the rest of our romantic lives only to attract unhealthy relationships. I can see that you feel the same way about women, and this is just 2 genders having a generalization of each other. This is when men give up on women and women give up on men when we really just pick the wrong people to love and don't look at ourselves. After that experience with that guy, I met a man who was amazing. He was very godly and was very chivalrous. As a matter of fact, he grew up with me in the same christian organization. We lived far apart, so we went on our separate ways. However, he was the sign that not all men are bad. And I appreciated God for giving me that sign. Yes, I should tell her what happened, but I still don't know. I have no idea how that would work out with her finding out.
