I'm gonna guess that In the first movie Vanessa was killed off in the self destruction she was killed off screen and the Vanessa that escaped with Austin was a fembot Or Mrs Kensington had no daughter and she was unaware who she was calling on the phone when nude Austin woke up So this isn't the real Vanessa but a fake
Austin's OMG reaction at 1:23 always makes me laugh 😂😂 I was upset with the revelation of Vanessa being a Fembot, she did look human in the first movie and she had her mother of course. If Mike Myers does get Austin Powers 4 off the ground. Maybe he'll have the issue on what happened to the Real Vanessa resolved.
I love these movies, but I gotta admit, I always hated this part. If they wanted to get rid of the character, fine, but making her a fembot and having Austin quickly get over it. That just seemed like a cruel cop out. This kinda made me enjoy the previous movie less, I liked her.
