pocket mirror was the best 2d game i ever played, nothing will make me forget how it was playing it when it released in 2016.i was playing it in a afternoon and I looked out the window and saw the sun setting, it's so nostalgic to me now.. everything at this game delights me
My favorite thing about Little Goody Two Shoes(yes ik this is Pocket Mirror) is the fact that it's a horror movie with a female-dominated cast in which the main characters are all femme lesbians! And the fact that it has a very cute and fairytale-esque aesthetic, being based off of 90s shoujo anime with strong female protagonists, which I love! Elise also has a very fierce, diva, and relatable personality! So you can bet I love this game! Good to have some girly horror up in here! 😋
Learn how to make a fucking game you idiots! Pick a goddam genre! Is your game meant to be a hard puzzle game like cup-head? A Phycological Horror Dating Sim game like Doki Doki Literature Club? A Recourse management game? A survival Horror? These genres do not mix well and honestly get in the way of each other. I can’t enjoy one because I’m too busy dealing with the consequences of another. And honestly these Witching Hour puzzles are so convoluted, Twice I’ve had to watch RU-vid tutorials to figure out how the hell to do them. Honestly I’m not surprised more people didn’t get trapped in cave on half a heart with no way to heal themselves because they already used their healing items. Also wtf is Muffy hiding from me during the time I’m supposed to give her food, this isn’t fucking Hide and seek. Now I’m trapped watching the same unskippable cut scene of that decapitated head in a basket over and over to I get out of this cave.
This game was a great remaster but there were some things that I liked from the first game like 1. THE SLAP So after Harper slaps you in the OG game, the MC (I’m not spoiling her name) has a slap mark on her face and in the remaster it’s not there
