@@bigbudhabuds From what I understood it wasnt their own studio. It was a scrappy indie studio that they chose to live and record in when they first came to Malmö from their hometown of Jönköping. So it was the producer´s studio and I guess he let them live there until they got their feet under them. She points at a record (of another band) on the wall when they first enter the studio and says that it was the reason they wanted to work with that producer. And to your question. Thats why its still there today, its not hers. But still amazing that it survived. Not all studios do.
Always find myself singing "like she's come undone" at their concerts instead of "like here comes the sun". If I ever get funny looks its a case of "What? You didn't fall in love with this track until Fantasies came out? Daaaaaaaamn son."
@Joeey If you don't like/understand the lyrics that's your own issue, don't try to project your own opinions onto something by declaring it "throw away with no message", it just makes you sound like an delightfully arrogant douchebag who reads the Coles notes for Sartre. It's fine to say "I don't like this", but padding in some faux-artiste garbage about how it would be better "art" with different lyrics is just pathetic and embarrassing. God I hate the Internet.
@Joeey the message of the song is that even though you think you have loads of time, you don't. Also with the 'who'd you rather be?' comparing the beatles and the rolling stones that each are the same but different but you have to make up your mind.
metric = one of the very best bands around today... emily's voice is beautiful and so is she... love the way they can move from the electronic vibe to acoustic so easily and finally... can someone help me identify the model of guitar in the vid? thx.
