Coach Shurmer absolutely runs his offense. Like any team, the QB has active input as he should. Also, Coach Livingston is the defensive coordinator and leads the defense. Coach Vincent Dancy is the outside linebackers coach.

They beat a bad team CSU, which is what should have happened. The jury is still out on how much they have improved. They will begin Big 12 play next week against Baylor. We’ll see.

This is NOT an O line issue. CU lines up loaded with WRs. The Oline puts 5 up front. Nebraska put 6 up front. No adjustments by CU. The DBs went at Shedeur untouched. That's a coaching issue.

The RB turnover is glaringly suspect and idk why they didn’t have “mate” (not Mata) kick. He’s tall, kicks higher and longer 🤷🏼♀️ We have an elementary offense you can dissect from a mile away. They’re still starting late and making late adjustments, same as last year. This is solely on the coaches 💯

Dylan is the #2 RB but he actually started the game because on the 1st play K-State lined up in a split back formation and Dylan got the ball on the 1st play with a catch in the flat. The #1 RB DJ Giddens is a future NFL player and rushed for over 1200 yards last season. Btw, Dylan never signed with or played at Notre Dame. He was verbally committed to them for a while after he originally committed to K-State and before he committed and signed with Colorado.

Alton and Wilkinson stays in CU they are 1 and 2, you have a new O line that is a work in progress and familiar faces around you for a second year run, be patient. Strength is best seen when you have less to work with. If you have new RBs coming in, show your coaches that you are better than them. At worse you will be the best RB on a shitty team, at best you develop chemistry with the new O line and your QB and the team start winning games. Last point if you want major coverage as a player, where else would you want to but the team everybody is watching.
Alton was 7 for 17, 2.4 yards average this weekend, most if not all were in 4th, his dad was also an issue, not gonna lie, was surprised snd not happy when he left Colorado

I can’t make a prediction about Colorado until I see them against NDSU. I don’t know how well the offensive line will develop as a cohesive unit to protect Shedeur and be able to open running lanes for the backs. I’m also concerned about the Secondary being able to cover receivers. We also have to see if the defensive line can stop the run and pressure the quarterback. This first game will answer a lot of questions.

I won’t go as hard on Colorado as you have because I’m optimistic about Shedeur, his backs and especially his receivers! If he gets any kind of protection and time to throw, Colorado will be competitive in every game. Their best defense may be their offense dominating the time of possession similarly to the TCU game last season.

Floppy James has taken a draft spot away from a more deserving player. He will take a spot on the Lakers’ roster over a more deserving player. For a few weeks he will gain starting minutes over a more deserving player and for a couple of seasons (as long as his father continues to play) he will take up a spot on the Lakers’ bench long after he should have been sent to the G League or cut outright.

I like your analysis, I’m a CU but I have UCF going far this year in the big 12 it’s them, cu, Iowa state, Utah or West Virginia that I have winning the conference. Back to your video, CU has tons of depth going 3 deep with playing experience ( except at Qb if sheduer goes down ( god forbid ) ) but this game is 50/50 and would really come down to the qb with less mistakes and that’s where I give the edge to CU. But I can also UCF winning this game if they can win time of possession and keep sheduer off the field
@@Polymath1998 Very good comment. As far as depth. Even SG sports also said that Colorado lacks depth especially on the defensive side. They were saying that CU can’t really afford any injuries. So I will have to really do some research on CU again and see for myself. And at least 2 other sport channels said the same thing about CU. And I respect you being a CU fan but at the same time you can give other teams credit . As far as the QB ‘s I totally agree with you. But Shedeur will win most QB comparisons. They bring back bunch mediocre returning starters which CU handled easily, CU made greater off season moves, 49-10 CU, Travis will 211 that Freshman quarterback for one maybe two INT’s
CU didn’t necessarily have to handle anything last year because the QB play was so bad. Yes CU got new players. But how good will they mesh together so early in the season?? It’s 40 new players. And The crowd will make a huge difference difference. Your talking 90 plus at that stadium. And also remember that Nebraska has the least amount of players to transfer out of their program than anyone in the Big 12. I had CO at first but then I changed my mind. I appreciate the comment.
@@tinynk7551Yes they did HBCU’s bad which is why I did the segment. We now have these big systems with PS5 and XBOX and there should be no excuse at all. They deserve it like anyone else. But they will have to go to a lot of schools and all of the HBCU’s will have to send back photos, scans etc for it to work. So I’m guessing maybe next year. I even contacted some of the developers on Twitter but they didn’t respond to me. I appreciate the comment.

Good analysis on UCF but you need to do more research on CU. Brother they are 3 deep at every position. Depth will not be an issue this year. The honorable mention DE you talk about will not be an issue because they will face three better DE in practice every day. BJ Green, Dayon Hayes, Sam Okunola. look them up. This year’s team is not top heavy as last year’s team. They have addressed those issues in a big way. If all things being equal if it comes down to who has the better QB. Well we know the answer to that question.
First thank you for your compliment on my UCF analysis. And I purposely didn’t talk much on the CO. So I cover the opponents for the most part. I chose not to cover CO In my preseason segments because most already know about CO because they are covered so much already. So that is not done purposely. You obviously know what your taking about because your analysis of CO is well done. The other channels like One3 some CO channels are saying that CO issues right now are depth. But I will look more into that. And you broke it down like I did. It may come to the QB’s and Sheddaur by far is the better QB. But the kid is from CF is good enough win. Shedeur will be better than most of the QB’s that he will face. But they will still take some loses. But your analysis is well done. You made some great points. So I’m no where near uniformed. And yes kids go away all the time. WELL OF COURSE they do smh. I speak from that exact experience. My point is it takes some kids longer to adjust to everything that playing in college comes with. Especially when your playing as a 5 star recruit and on a major college level. I also did a video on that. I broke down everything that I’m saying to u. It got great feedback I did part 1 it got 8 thousand views and part 2 got 5 thousand views. All all of those guys didn’t leave because they couldn’t preform. Your so blind. Hell their starting running back left. A kid who’s known coach prime since he was kid. And at the school we only make up 2.7% where as white make up 65%. And that 2.7 is on the sports team mostly football. I appreciate the comment.
