I also have a 34C(with Feathers), switched to a safety razor back a month ago in my sixties😊.I have a bit more sensitive skin and so far my shaving is a bit confused. But when I look at you, it seems so simple, unproblematic and even pleasant, I envy you a little. All the best!
I get BBS with Derby after 2 pass and clean up, zero irritation. I really like them. I use all blades 3 times only. Derby are in my top 5 (out of 23 ive tested). And for reference, Amazon has 6,000 reviews averaging 4.5 out of 5. That is pretty darn good. Thanks for the review.
I have yet to try the Derby Extra, due to their terrible rep. I have cycled through a 100-pack of the Derby Premiums and found them to be slightly above average: three or four good shaves, then toss. I would buy them again, however, not in a hurry to revisit anytime soon.
I don't have hear good things for those. Especially from people who have more than 4-5 days without shaving. Best low budget and mild blades are Astra (at least for me) and when i want something more aggressive i go with Bic Platinum or Feather.
Yes, I only get 1 good shave out of these Derby Extras. The Derby Premiums are much better blades & very budget friendly. The Astra Blades are nice budget blades as well as Dorco Platinums & Dorco Titans. Thanks for watching!👍😎

Thanks Brother for Watching! Stirling Island Man is truly great stuff! Other blades great for coarse hair I have found is Gillette Nacets, Dorco Titan. Dorco Platinum, Astra Platinum, and Kai Blades. I know blades are subjective to everyone but these blades I found work great for my coarse facial hair. Besides, must of the blades I mentioned are inexpensive & makes it easy to purchase different ones to try without breaking the bank!😎👍
Ok so your video came out first in my search for these blades since today i saw them here in a store, i was curious since is the first time they arrive here in Venezuela for 0.30 cents the 10 blade pack, I must say i'm amaze, i shaved my head and no cuts, did my face and arms since i my arm tattoos look way better with the arms shaved haha, amazing video and review, thank you so much for this.

This is a significant upgrade over the Derby green. It may not be as sexy or popular as a Feather or Russian Gillette or Persona. But boy it is a d*** good blade with regards to sharpness and smoothness. I have sensitive skin and coarse hair and dis blade does a great job for me. I shave every 3-4 days so by that time my beard is very coarse and I get 3-4 shaves out of a blade. So underrated especially at under $10 on Amazon. Excellent blade especially for the price.
I've always found India made blades are pretty good and I get on well with many of them. Don't have a ATT razor but would like one if they are remade again by BlackLand.👌😎👍

Hopefully they will rerelease Arlen again. The set I picked up was from their Black Friday sale last year. I believe possibly it was a limited run & if there is more interest in it, they will release it again. I can usually get maybe 1 decent shave out of the Derby Extra blades. The Derby Premium blades in my opinion are so much better. With the premium blades, I can get 3-4 good shaves. Thanks for watching! Take care 👍😎

Bubba you need to get your facts right before you start running ur mouth most of ur facts are wrong .I was borned in winter hsven .The tower in in Lake Wales.ur build facts are wrong too ur height is wrong the tower was built on the highest part of central fla 298 ft tall plus tower 205 ft tall and dogs cost 10.00$ to get in adults are 20.00$ ..Bok Tower use to be called the ''singing tower'' but of course you being from not down here wouldnt know that or how you could here the bells singing 10 miles away on a good day and we here in dundee could hear the clearly

I too found the Derby Extras become very blunt very quickly. They are a very safe shave so good for learning safety razors for cheap, but that lack of sharpness results in a dull blade after the first shave. Good to hear they are making higher quality blades now the competition is bigger.
I felt like I can only get 1 decent shave from the extras before they started tugging. They are pretty dull in my opinion & there are much better blades out there. sheesh I have used barbersol since 1987 when I entered the military and I never had my face look like that just a dab will do you. some people are snobs when it comes to wet shaving yes a badger brush and lathers. I love those but I still love barbersol.

First off great video! Weird question but does the adhesive stuck to the blades build up inside your razors and if so how do you properly clean it out of the razor?
I’ve never honestly had a problem with the blade adhesive sticking to my razors. I usually periodically clean my razors with scrubbing bubbles when they get soap scummy…… maybe that also gets off what ever glue residue that is there. Thanks for stopping by & watching Brother!👍😎

In my opinion the Derby Extras are just good enough for maybe 2 shaves before they get dull (from my experience!) I highly recommend the Astra green (Platinum)! They are a much better blade!
