Beautiful family pictures always together from the beginning to the end! You loved to eat sweets, chocolate, to drink Seven Up, Canada Dry, Coke, and your Algarrobina Cocktail. Your favourite dishes were Duck with Rice, fish, and steak, fries and a green salad. You never drink water and you lived almost 101 years old. You were so strong and with a great sense of humour. Olga, your family will always love you and will remember you. ❤❤
Mom, you were an amazing person always giving to people even what you did not have. Thank you for everything you did for us, If I would not have known English, since I was a kid, and went to Rosa de America School, which was a bilingual school in Lima, Peru, I would not have been able to get the permanent resident visa in Canada, bring all the family, and start a new life. It was like winning a lottery. Olga, your children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren will love you always and will remember you. You will be in our hearts forever. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for taking Olga to heaven in the right moment. It happened, just as we were praying for, with no pain and going into a deep sleep in my brother's arms. Lord Jesus, you are an amazing God, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace, King of Kings. Rest in peace Olga. Kisses from all of us.
Muito comovente um enterro nesse país eu não sei onde fica só que é bem diferente do Brasil minhas condolências a família e que Deus conforte toda família e que essa pessoa esteja nos braços de Jesus Cristo
My condolences to Amy and the rest of the family. It was bittersweet watching, knowing the early Vancouver/Burnaby years when he became my best friend. We did so much together from Kidstreet, Eastside Sports League, East Vancouver Housing Project Mission, Compassion Ministry, EastVan Mission House, Burnaby Mission House (where James stayed in the basement...that was our stripy couch we left in Vancouver in moving to NYC in the photo!), Bus Ministry (Tom along with Ron were the most faithful drivers we had), Broadway Church Softball League, the dogs, hanging out all sorts of places, working on our houses, playing with my young sons, and on and on it goes. Indeed, my last memory of Tom was him co-driving with me and my son Justin across the continent when we moved to NYC to continue our ministry here. The bittersweet element is we lost complete touch of each other (even thought I've been back to Vancouver every 5 years or so) until by serendipity reconnected in the final two months. He will remain as that treasured person in our young family when he was that surrogate brother I never had and honorary uncle to the young sons. Indeed, Tom vernacular has remained in our family. When frustrated with the gritty details for fixing eavestroughs on the mission house he complained "This is such dicky, dicky doo work" but was persistent to make sure the renovations on the mission house details were done as fine as possible. So when in our family we have a gritty unenjoyable detail to complete we remember him and say "this is such dicky dicky do" and then set out to complete the task. Bless you all. Hans, Cheryl, Justin, Graydon Tokke. P.S. So nice to see James Lee again in this video!
Rest in Peace beautiful Mary. Please accept my sincere condolences, John, Sean & Jacob and your wives. Love as well to all The Haskell family. 🙏 Growing up in Pointe a Pierre, Mary was always someone I looked up to. I was so happy to have met her again in Perth a few years back. She will always be remembered with love.❤
Uncle Francis a thousand words or tears won’t bring you back. You will always be treasured in our hearts and in our prayers. Your loving niece and nephew Allison and John
