Mike, long haired bearded guy does have a genuine love for this culture. Dude in the hat has no clue bout the culture in question, respects raw talent and knows when respect is due. Thank you for your open minded thoughts. Honesty as well as dishonesty should always be kept in check ! ✌️😎🍻😎✌️
You dude's should've done some research before reacting to this specific diss track... There's like 12yrs of backstory to this beef...You guys are better off reacting to one of the countless video essays breaking down the whole beef.
This starts at Like That by Future , moves to 7 Minute Drill by J Cole (following its release J cole would drop out) then drake would drops Pushups then this drop. And then Family Matters from drake. I dont remember all that follows but you can probably look it up. Its overall Kendrick doing what appears to be a breakdown of Drake the artist and Aubrey the person and Drake doing a lower grade version of such (Family Matters is probably a top 3 song in the beef and drake entire discography though). Besides that The Coolest by Lupe Fiasco would be a cool revisit. J. Cole: Too Deep for the Intro )I think the album is Friday Night Lights) for more diverse recommendations Messages from the stars by The rah band DRILL MUSIC IN ZION by Lupe fiasco Norf Norf by Vince Staples Big Fish by VInce Staples ARE YOU WITH THAT by Vince Staples(Which has a great music video) LAW OF AVERAGES by VInce Staples Undefeatable : Sonic Frontiers OST 10 Minutes by Charles Hamilton EdEddnEddy by JID SMUCKERS by Tyler The Creator Angel Island Zone Act 1 and Act 2 : Sonic 3 Black Piano : Cowboy Bebop OST In The Bar : Streets of Rage 2 Esparento : Megaman Zero 4 ost Session : Tyler The Creator Smuckers : Tyler The Creator Chum - Earl sweatshirt Auditorium- mos def and slick rick
Yall should go back and start with "like that" a Future song ft. Kendrick priduces by Metro Boomin' which was essentially the gauntlet being thrown down by Kdot. After a collab with Drake and Jcole. After the first diss, Jcole Bowed out. He didnt wanr the smoke. In hindsight, it was the right call at the right time for him.
There is way too much backstory to summarize, and I’m just going to go ahead and say you guys should leave this alone altogether. You clearly don’t have the basic respect for hip hop to even begin to understand what’s happening here. This was like watching 2 dogs try to understand algebra and just making noise anytime they thought they recognized a sound.
Wow that is a perfect synopsis dude.lol we started out reacting to Kendrick, not that that justifies us reacting to a beef and giving our opinion. We reacted to Kendrick because we’re fans of his work. That was his new material in four years. Thank you for your open minded support. ✌️😎🍻😎✌️
You don't speak for hip hop or the culture. These dudes have been reacting for quite a long time and they have every right to sit and enjoy this, with or without the context. If you want people to stay in their lanes, stay in yours. You're a consumer, they're producing content. Expanding their horizons, maybe you should do the same.
@@TheJoshestWhite I never claimed to speak for anyone else. I’m just being honest that these guys might as well react to a foreign language conversation. Sorry, but seeing two white guys get to the end of an extremely dense and meaningful song and go right into “he revoked his n word pass!” is a clear red flag. It just is. Makes the hairs on my arm stand up. These people are not equipped to listen to what they’re hearing, and they are not going to expand any horizon knowing so little going in. It’s the old saying, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Can be more harmful than knowing nothing. They can react to whatever they want, and I can tell them I think they are at best wasting their time, and at worst getting a very wrong impression due to their own ignorance.
@@blacklinkfirelink2304 the red flag is u, they both know something about hip hop, obviously the dude on the left knows more than the right with the pusha T part. You only say they don't respect hip hop becuz they're white, thats the only reason, and u sound ignorant asf even trying that wack angle. you don't know hip hop from when it sounds like becuz if u did u wouldn't be this outwardly wrong about what understanding hip hop is lmao. With your logic eminem is ignorant to hip hop too huh
Drake did blackface in 2007 for some project when he was an actor, and Pusha T used that pic for his song "The Story Of Adidon" in which he exposed Drake for hiding a baby. (2018).
This song was talking about a moment when Lupe took his nephew to a dinosaur museum. He also speaks on him being a rapper and being considered old, but still wanted to be respected. Because, even though he's old, he's not outdated and obsolete. He'll still take your head off on wax. "T-Rex wasn't the smartest of the smartest, but you wouldn't want to box with this carnivorous martial artist."
