Congrats for the video. A kind question: In your opinion, are the handlebars too high for a 1.70 m person? I would need to know the height from the footboard to the steering knob to realize this.
Thanks buddy, I am 5 ft 11 and this scooter was perfect for me in everyway. I'm not sure of the measurements as I sold it to my friend who also loves it. You say your 1.70 m I make that about 5ft 5 if i'm right then it might be abit high for you.
Hi E Scooter Rides..... How do you find the Mantis King GT for trails / light off road in terms of comfort, performance & reliability? I am looking for a dedicated trail option just NOT a beast (Wolf King GTR, etc) due to the hefty associated pricetag
Well it definitely has comfort performance & reliability, just sold mine to a mate and he is loving it. it does ok off road . I have had 44 mph out of it on a gps. I got the daultron thunder 3 now thats why I sold mine.
@@escootersfpvrides2723 yea cheers mate, does it go off automatically and turn into a shift light I saw a setting for it but wouldn’t let me on unless i was above 600
@@connorbolton3683 I think there is away to turn it off, I,m sure there is a video on youtube somewhere that shows you how to, it's worth trying goggle too as I did a service my self on my bike and had to goggle how to get rid of the service light. it's all on a forum somewhere mate. Happy riding
@@escootersfpvrides2723 ahhh thank you I’ll have a look around like . But if your doing your service yourself there’s a ktm app , it’ll give you a full service sheet for your exact bike . N happy riding to you too bro
@escootersfpvrides2723 thanx a bunch,I got it, works good, I bought this off someone and also have to check the creaks when I turn the front handle, and the rear is flat, I tried to fill it up but not going up , I believe it's tubed and not tubeless, the guy didn't know anything about the scooter, he said a friend gave it to him..silly but I think it was stolen, he looked and talked like a crack head unfortunately, his apartment was a mess..God help him
@@DavidSanchez-cc7sq There are a lot of robberies with these scooters, I got chased by a car just before christmas on my new thunder 3, I was lucky to get away because 10 mins later two guys on serons was looking for me, this was 1.00am in the morning. Anyway glad you sorted it out have fun it,s a great scooter
@escootersfpvrides2723 wow that's crazy, I'm from Brooklyn N.Y, I'm in a good neighborhood but things can happen, I'll carry my rifle around my shoulders..lol..now I do have street tires on and thinking to put slime in the both tires, maybe thicker tires on this scooter, I ride less than 10 miles a day , I do want to change all the red to gold, u think it's possible?
I bought a tif galop t-88 50mph great except for the things heavy 103 lbs not easy to get up stairs so noemw its the unfoldable with a ramp up my rear stairs, i paid $1,432 great fun erand runner put a large rear bag and a 3lb front fork bag built the front deck out i bit bigger to have good space for your feet a alarm system, stero and extra lighting charge after every run keeos up with 45mph traffic just fine goes very fast ,but looking for something i lot lighter with 45mph power and a smooth throttle the mantis king gt is the next toy on my list, 3 months of saving to afford it though, i will go with out a lot to have the toys l really want, i dont need it but i would love to have it right!?
oh yes, its a must mate. I got the thunder 3 in november but I almost had it robbed on my 3rd ride. got chased by a car at 1.00am. when I got home there where two guys on serons looking for me, I had a lucky excape.
gt mate, it does 44 mph on a gps unit so it's abit faster than the vsett 10+. I have heard some bad things about the warrior but i,m not saying its a bad choice because I have never had one.
Thanks my friend, I will post more scooter vids soon but after what happend with the attempt robbery I am only doing group rides now. Those guys in balaclavas are everywhere on the rob, if they see somethink they won't they get on there phones for backup. I have alot of good friends so if we stick together we will be fine. Thanks for checking out my channel new friend
This is promotional and does not represent real ownership, don't be dumb. There are three large holes in the front area of the deck and the side led lights have no protection against water, if you try this with your Mantis GT you will screw something up, no one will warranty it and no one will feel sorry for you in the forums. Modification to the deck is required if you want to ride in wet conditions, the motors also will allow water intrusion and corrosion will form inside the motor housing.causing premature failure.
Well there is no problems with mine, and I do ride mine in wet conditions, so stop being rude and if you have a problem have ago at the guys that makes and sales the bloody things and not me.
@@escootersfpvrides2723 No, YOU stop telling people to do things that will damage their scooter, it is pure dumb luck that you have gotten away with it for this long. I have had these units apart for service and know their weaknesses.
@@Bobbrians I have'nt told anyone anything if you watch the video again you will see that I set out to do a speed run, I caught out with the rain. Not once did I mention that this scooter was fine to ride in wet condition. In fact I said lets see if this scooter will get me home, which it did. it's not my fault if people are having problems I just share my experiences.
he manejado ambas, mas comoda la Vesett 10+, pero la mantis es muy agil y en un camino bueno, parejo... no tiene problema. Ahora, a la hora de doblarlas.... horrible la mantis.
I just got mine last week and can’t get the steering feel adjusted to my liking….its either nice and loose but a bit wobbly in the stem, or too stiff and tight, but no wobbles. 😢
That looks like it was a lot of fun! I just barely picked up my first electric scooter last week (Segway Ninebot E22) to get around campus and for short jaunts around town, and I already decided that the Mantis King GT is going to be my next scooter. When I was first looking at scooters just for small commutes I couldn't see the reason for getting anything that goes over 25mph, but now with even the little taste of riding I've had I'm looking forward to going faster. And there's a very large dip between my house and the main part of the city I live in, so I need something powerful enough to take a hill both coming and going.
This scooter can climb mate with speed, it's a bit quicker than the vsett 10+. if you get one change the settings for more accuracy. I have put the setting above☝
I forgot to mention that you need to set the magnet count to 31 and the the whell diameter at 9.8 for more accuracy. You are probably only doing 45mph max on a gps.
It is MPH but solar scooters are set up to make you think your going quicker, I have done a gps run since and this scooiter only does 44MPH, I don't buy from solar anymore
@@escootersfpvrides2723 i was worried my joyor s8s would be doing that as well but i tested it on Relive and fortunately the spedometer shows almost the same speed.
My son just bough one from Fowlers. It looks so good. Amazing price too. So glad he found it, he was looking for a nice 125 for ages. So close to buying the z125.
Fowlers is where I bought mine, almost had it stolen last week, two teenagers on a stolen bike working together, I had to chase him to the bottom of my street, he jump off at the last second because he could see I was catching him. The plactics got a bit damaged. lucky I didn't leave the key in. Don't leave it on your drive unless it's very sercure.
HEY just put them front lights on my p1 2.0 and they look sick the thing is when im on the road i get car,s flashing me because i imagine im dazzling them so i put it in dim when im on the road and in high when im on trails or sidewalks but do you get that because your lights look bright there
Nothing you can do mate, there not restricted, there just slow. Putting a difference exhaust makes no difference to power either, forget the comment about it helping with acceleration, that’s not true.
I was only thinking of you yesterday brother where have you been my friend, hey plenty of flying spots to cheak out on these roads right😀 I have'nt flown yet this year having to much fun on this bike lol. I did do some nice flights last year that I have'nt posted yet so I might post some soon. Hope your well my friend really nice to here from you😀
Hope your well brother, New virus now in uk can you get your hands on ivermectin usp 6mg iver taps, can't get them hear in uk would really appreciate buddy.
@@escootersfpvrides2723 brother u can get a replica sc project or a akrapovic exhaust i may suggest u put a full system replica of any of those because replica exhaust's are enough for lower cc bikes orignal exhaust may be put on 600 or above cc bikes
Bro do your bike have the stock exhaust? How it sounds? Im probably getting this model and i dont know if add the Akrapovic exhaust as extra or not, what u think brother?
Yes stock exhaust mate and it sounds quiet, I have been thinking of fitting a better one myself. but do your home work because i was told that some exhaust can damage your engine.
