Lay people dont care which method. To them it is the same trick. That being the case this is Slydini. Original style and master. Even with some internet geeks saying he is flawed. Whatever. His name will be long remebered after we are all gone.😅
Upset to find out that Ali Bongo is currently under house arrest following a military coup in Gabon. I sincerely hope he can abracadabara his way out of that one. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family right now.
He was a wonderful variety performer loved by children because of his silliness his crazy costumes and he knew how to present magic in a colourful and exciting way ...a entertainer and a outstanding magician with extensive knowledge as member of the magic circle
Even though we didn't see much of him on our TV screens back then, my sister and I really enjoyed it when we did. He must have made a lasting impression on me because some 30 years later, when I created a magician character in a MMORPG, the name 'Ali Bongo' came to mind even though I thought I'd long forgotten such! And during my time playing that game occasionally someone would message me with warm feelings that I had that name as my character. Funny how things turn out.
A great performance. I had the honor of meeting in Cleveland many years ago at a magic convention. I purchased his original orange Pom Pole trick directly from him for about $50 and it is one of my best tricks, performed at least 200 times in ten countries.
@@sunnyjim1355 Ho Jim, the translation is: "I used to whatch him when I was a kid. A unique style". Ali Bongo is wonderful performer Who always remained in my mind. I always whatch him with great pleasure. 😁😁😁
For anyone interested , there's a cleaner video of this posted here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-srG2XoHqobk.html , starting around the 4 min. 30 sec. mark .
Ali was a very dear friend of my mentor and he was devasated when ali passed away. They had dinner many many times at his place discussing magic and speaking about life in general. Ali wa a great creative mind in magic. I have several of his notes (given by him to my mentor) and a close look at it, tells us how great this man was...
