People say that he is sooooooo different from the middle of his career but other than this being louder I don’t think it that different from “people keep saying that I can’t beat Brock Lesnar. I can. I will”
@@chopsuey897 its explained “how” in the comment. What Roman was saying in 2015 are exactly the same as things he was saying in 2023. You can take a Roman line from 2015 and a Roman line from 2023 and compare them and they are the same lines. People are lying when they act like Roman magically got good recently. He has been amazing since his debut.
@dallasisgood Are you serious right now? So we're just gonna forget sufferin succotash, Roman and the Beanstalk, his botched declare into the Royal Rumble match promo, I can go on and on. And if you compare those to Roman's promos now, dude it's not even close lol. He's never always been good.
@@chopsuey897 all of that was fine. People only complained about it because they like complaining. Roman has been far and away the best performer in WWE since 2013.
If you like this band you will love Graveworm. Check them out. Listen to Timeless, I - The Machine, Bloodwork, Suicide Code, Forlorn Hope, and Hell’s Creation.
@@Lagato445 Also Apostasy, they are a Melodic Black Metal band from Sweden. Look them up on metal archives because there are bands with that same name.
Thanks, the racks were set up to catch me, I test it out with 135 each time, that way I can push to muscle failure and not have to worry about being pinned down, been there and it was rough lol
Since ppl are sharing My PR is 400lbs done at age 29 at 190lbs BW with safety bars and I can confirm dips helped with my max at 23 years old which was 390. I usually did 150 5x5 weighted dips after bench. I was young though. Only preworkout and KFC. I do have shorter arms and good leverage but it took me years to build my foundation. (But also I benefit personally from 10 to 20 sets of push ups @30 reps per set as a standalone workout for chest day. If you're a little under or anywhere over 200 your bench will go up I actually regret that I forgot for so long how beneficial high-volume High rep push-ups can be when used for a couple of months instead of bench press. For a month-3 or so as long as your joints are good in my experience. This is anecdotal. Scientifically building muscle mass can occur even at 3 reps even up to 30 or 40, but you must be training hard, not passively) Hopefully beginners and intermediate people will see this and consider doing push ups and rethink conventional reps. Go read the studies on building muscle too. Great vid!!
thats epic bro, are you still benching big? I agree push ups helped alot, I used to do them as a home workout and do sets of 10 for 45, and if I was able to do it easy enough I'd increase it by 1 rep for each set the next workout, since I haven;t done them as often I've noticed my pushing strength but more so my endurance has gone down. I use to be able to rep 135 for 25-35 reps at the end of my workout for a burner set, now I can only get 15-20 as I fatigue much quicker
@@Lagato445 oh damn nice! If I were to go for a max now probably only around ...340. Maybe 350 but If I had a week to train specifically on bench 2 workouts..bout 370. The muscle memory is insanely fast. To get back to 400 probably take a month or two since everything above 370 is very like...idk it's like you have to go into a super saiyan mindset. When I did 400 I did 1 rep in three separate workouts (pyramids) and told myself "I met my life goal, I can stop and my muscle memory will allow me to resume back at a higher level. I'll save my joints, I'm getting old" even though I'm only 29. I know I'll probably want to ascend past 400 at some point in my early 30s (I'd be benching more but I live in a super hot area and my bench/rack is in a storage unit with no AC and the thermometer reads 115 during the summer so I powerlift closer to winter. The place is more like a martial arts dojo but theres weights in there too) Sorry for the long answer, short answer is probably 340 to 350 max if I went into any gym and had a rack or spotter
@@supersaiyanzero386 I definitely know you'll hit 405 in the future, that's awesome at a young age! I'll be happy if I can make it to 315lbs but I'd have to gain some weight since out of all three compound lifts my bench always dips when I start to cut weight but I can keep my squat and deadlift numbers around the same. I hear you about the bench pad, I sweat excessively and always feel like I'm on a slip n slide when I'm benching, I see now why some dudes will put a mat or lifting pad on the bench to keep them from sliding. I'm thinking if implementing the slingshot back into my program since with that on I can overload my bench and was at one point doing 5x3 with 295lbs, and the muscle memory does come in clutch since I can stop benching for a few weeks and still rep out 225 which was always a milestone for me
@@NovaIvy95 for sure, I actually did pull a muscle a few months ago deadlifting which made me reset everything from scratch. Deadlifting on hexagon plates they sometimes roll on you and I pulled against the moment which caused my lat muscle to pull, when I go heavy now I try and not do touch n go reps unless I'm using round plates, for the best probably since it helped me refine my technique
@@Lagato445 oh man that's rough! I feel you though, Ive pulled too many muscles, but that was from me being a dumbass thinking I could lift more weight than I actually could. That's the only reason I'm saying that so you don't do the same 😁 you've got this though! That's awesome that you realized what not to do going forward now so that don't happen again! You'll get back up to the 405 for sure!
@@NovaIvy95 Thanks, yea I'm hoping to hit it within the next two or three weeks, I can comfortably get a 395 for a top set but those extra 10 pounds could be make or break for me lol
Hey brother man I salute you for your hard work, but be careful with your back. During squats you are supposed to keep your back straight and tighten your core. I can tell your legs are strong enough to put up that weight, but perhaps your back and abs are not. I would suggest to work on those two body parts first before you start going crazy with adding to much weight in the squat rack
Thanks brother, yea I normally try to squat in the squat rack, unfortunately my gym only has one with adjustable pins, the other two I have to walk far off to be able to go low enough. I agree my back and abs seem to be my lacking point at the moment, I've been doing weighted hyper extensions and leg/knee raises for them 💪 I know when I do use a belt it helps my bracing and stability some, when I try to go for a heavy single sometimes it ends up looking better than my triple or double sets, I'm wondering if it's because of the belt
@@Lagato445 Try floor press with the 100s. I do a lot of those. You have to pause 1-2 seconds on the bottom. They are very difficult and will build your bench up.
@@DerekWhite-u5j Thanks I'll try them, last week was the first time I did floor presses with a barbell, and I thought I would lift more due to less ROM but I was wrong, 185lbs humbled me, doing them for sets of 10 blew my triceps up, the pump was unreal, I'll try them with dumbbells net time!
Everyone wants to be a fitness influencer but nobody wants to do the work before to get there. You got a buncha work ahead of ya feller. Maybe add muscle then try to show others how to gain it lol
