Crazy they haven't done more "named" clones. Easy money for hot toys. I'd definitely consider updating if hot toys makes him. Would love them to make gree too with an actual green chrome visor!
Thanks. Actually I blended a few colors to get the match. They were alll testors enamel model paints. I think it may have been silver, gunmetal & a little black. Hope that helps!
Man, i love your collection. Quantity and quality. I love those themed combos: one big statue the surrounded by smaller figures. I love that they are grouped by theme: OG, Mandalorians, bad guys… absolutely fantastic.

It was a wonderful journey fly through your collection with this music! I have just three 1/6 figures in my collection and I love them. Darth Vader, C3-PO and R2-D2. what you recommend for my next 1/6 figure? I am 52 years old, and watched Star Wars on VHS, because in 1977 law in Brazil didn’t allow children with my age go to the movies and see it.

I'd say either Obi-Wan Kenobi or Yoda. Sadly they are sold out and would probably cost a lot more because of that. Another option would be the new Luke Skywalker that is currently available :)
Thanks. They are .45 scaled helmets by Master Replicas and so are the lightsabers in front of them in the display. I got them all off of ebay over the past few years... Wish they still made them 😪
Just for the dust them everyday I do that with my figures and collectibles I don't have a ton I got about 15 pieces right now and takes me anywhere from 10 minutes to 15 minutes the fellow dust them off and that way the dust doesn't get all over them. Nothing irks me more than when you buy a piece off of eBay and when you get it it's all dusty like the person who's selling it takes absolutely no time to dust it off and clean it up before they sell it to you when I sell stuff I always make sure I get it as clean as I possibly can
I invested in an electronic air duster. One of the best investments I've made for my collection. I use it pretty frequently now. Thanks for the comments 🙂
Hi, is that a mod to have the lightsaber light up? Great collection! I just started with the Black Series still thinking which one from the 1/6 scale to get so hard to choose.
Thank you! The Force FX Elite Darksaber & Vaders saber both have light up functions. If you ever pick up 1/6 you will not be disappointed, just know you can't stop at one 😜
@@psyberiantyger that would be my fear lol, I search for that but the big saber came up I was referring to the one the figures have how can they light up if that was some type of modification. Don’t think I seen that before.
@@theflyerpr40d the ones with the lit up sabers (maul, vader & savage opress) are sideshow quarter scale statues or better known as premium format figures. They actually come with those & the lighting looks fantastic, but they are incredibly fragile. Hot toys figures (for the most part) also have light up sabers using LEDs and batteries, but they are very dim and the batteries die so quickly so i never use them. it's almost not even worth it. Hope that answers your question!

@@psyberiantyger I certainly have thought about how to do it myself and decided to just stick with 1/6 for basic interaction. I never considered doing it how you did...it's the best idea I've seen for mixing sizes. I like how you have the warmer light on them as well. It feels more cinematic.

Indeed i am ;) years ago I tried collecting lotr, marvel, dc, Aliens/predator, terminator & transformers all at once... didnt take long to realize that was toooo much to handle so i picked my favorite. Star wars for the win! Appreciate the feedback Todd!

That is a genuinely impressive collection you've built. I also appreciated the time you took to talk a little about each figure, for example when you explained about the second batch Grevious having his joint problem corrected, or the jawas needing you to build a custom base for them to be able to stand properly. It was fascinating. A real gem was when you talked about Jedi Luke in his black outfit making people think he'd turn to the dark side, but the white lining proving he was still good inside. I loved that. From a collection viewer's perspective, I prefer the tours where a collector takes time with each piece like you did, and talks about it. After all, every single piece has a story behind it. Some tour videos just rush through, rattling off what the piece is and then quickly moving on, but this was nice to spend time with you and listen to your passion and insight. Thanks for taking the time to show us what you have a well-earned right to be justifiably proud of.

@@psyberiantyger yaaaaaas. Fellow collector amazing collection. Recently picked up the 1/4 Hot Toys Mandalorian and its amazing. I do have the 1/6 Hot Toys Vader, Solo Darth Maul, Kylo Ren and a New Hope Obi Wan Kenobi which I love but that's it for the Star Wars. The rest is Mastpiece Transformers, Soul of Chogokin & Gundam and a lot of Batman action!
@@psyberiantyger Man I have been thinking about parting ways will all the G1 Masterpieces outside of FansToys. I've been building up my Hot Toys 1/4 line in the last month picked up Batman Begins, Joker, Spider-Man & the Mandalorian which are INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
