Hello! Welcome to Empress Locs, We are locticians who specialise in Dreadlocks, Braids and Natural hair.
Our youtube channel was created to show our skills to the world and to offer basic tutorials to enhance dreadlock skills but more recently to help with loc maintenance during lockdown. We will be launching a very detailed course in 2021, this will include everything you need to start and progress in the dreadlock field or just to maintain locs to the best of your ability. There are many ways of doing things when it comes to dreadlocks we are always learning new techniques and investing in our craft, we believe there is no wrong or right way, simply what works for you or your client!

I have 4A hair and my hair does NOT want to be locked. I even had to resort to using gel just for it to stay and not unravel. Is there something I am doing wrong?
I interlocked the ones which needed a bit more stability due to the hair being quite thin and the soft texture, he had a mild baldness in those areas smd a retweet would not have held up
I have a genuine question I followed ur tutorial and my friends hair still won’t stay in place even when I clip it. He goes to wash his hair and they fall out I’ve used the toughest gel I could find especially for dreads. Could there be something I’m doing wrong?
