do you mean before assembling the cluster I have to connect it to the car and put the key to position 1. Then move the needle clock wise then anti clockwise. Ok move the needle clockwise (where I have to stop)? What about the speedometer? The same ?
Gotta love German over engineering. Did they take notes from Toyota? A V-8 engine in Lexus or Toyota you have to pull the intake manifold to get to it.
Why after i reset my ac follow your instruction and it works But like after 10minute back error again,and i reset again then after 10minuter eror again,i have to reset many time especially when i go to a far place,please help whats should i do
My pump runs and cuts off. When I disconnect the outlet on the pump to the valve block the pump sucks in air from the intake and blows out air from the outtake. When I reconnect the line to the valve block the inlet no longer sucks air in it blows air out. Anybody got any ideas. Is it just not enough compression on the cylinder head or what
Would that valve on that compressor be the reason why the car keeps lowering and not Rising. The car used to go up and down when I opened the door now just goes low and does not come back up anymore

Does anyone know how to align and adjust the s500 w220. The upper right corner of the lud closest to the window sits about 1/2 inch tilted up. Another symptom is when I hit the trunk release the kid would open like a quarter of the way then get really stiff and wouldn't fully open up. Any input to what's going on and how to repair. The kid was working and closing fine without issue. And no accidents .
Wagas, try to repeat the same info less than 30 times... thanks, but I have a feeling you are trying to make this as long as possible which is annoying for some of us that have allot to do....
Check fuses, the facelift (after 04/2001) cars have 3 for the instrument cluster, passenger side (LHD cars) take of the dashboard end panel where the vent comes out and goes into the door and check all the 5 amp fuses.
Your expertise just fixed my problem. Now I can enjoy my A/C. I just had the system charged and needed to reset the codes just like you said. Thank you sir!!

Hello my friend,a question are you able to access the starter motor without removing the parts?I don't mean to be able to work with it but to be able to "bump" it a bit.
The w211 only have 5 connections…SP,P,HA,VR,VL….so SP is the air tank/reservoir,VR&VL is front so what is the P&HA ?maybe one is for the rear and the other goes to the compressor?
