Thank you for the compliment. I built the pages. In a previous video, I gave a shout out to you for giving me the idea to build a page to make it bigger. I think I need to give you another shout out and connect that video too. Thank you for the trigger. So many things are in play in making a video.I am always learning something new. And I just thought about the previous page connection.
I like to win prizes, that is why i do the art. I won a drawing about 6 months ago from artstacks. They have pretty digitals. Funny my inspiration of art exists in myself. Motivation is from positive vibes. I enjoy watching your art. Blessings.
Thank you. I remembered my swirl and C to make a rose. I am naturally draw to color, I try to be neutral and it goes color. I think these will go as pockets or card? It is a challenge to do all your own art and not use digitals.
Love me some circles! I really love the vine through the middle in white, very effective. You have so much patience, I'm hopeless, if it needs to dry then thats the end of the project most of the time. Coming back and doing more later is not my strong suit. This looks great!!
@@pennyrosejournals thank you. Yes, I have some patiences. I worked as a registered nurse for 36 years. First in hospitals, then for the state of WA for 33 years in abuse, neglect, and exploitation. I have a sense of perfection. Which could be good and bad thing.

Great use of lots of different techniques to get a result you are looking for. Spraying the back of a damp curling piece to flatten it down is a great tip to share!

How exciting to find old pastels! $30 back then, so expensive! They must be great quality! I have a decent collection myself but rarely draw with them these days. I should try using them differently just to use them up else in 50 years someone will find mine 😂
@@retroqueenbeeart it’s not that I can’t Vicky it’s just that I am so involved with my junk journals that all other art pursuits have taken a back seat. Lol 😝 I have a bit of an obsessive personality. Right now junk journaling is my passion and there is no time for anything else.

@@retroqueenbeeart Aww thanks Vicky. I know you will enjoy it! There is something about brown paper and gelli prints. Feeling the cold from the wet paint seeping through the thick paper as you smooth your palms over it....I love it.
Very creative Vicky. You have a pile of interesting and varied postcards to use there. I like them a lot. I particularly like 6 (I think it was) with the old buildings and the leaf pocket.
Thank you so much 😊I really like this challenge because I can make cards for my journals. I used an envelope for one of the flaps. I took me many steps. I created the window using new acetate and lined it with wax paper coffee stain and alcohol ink. I have been saving the building in my phone book hoping to use it. it is a gorgeous building. My collections of buildings are low. I am on the hunt.
