That Unction boost definitely was the final nail in the coffin. His units where already maxed, combined with another ×1.25 multiplier on all unit damage is too much to tank
This was honest to God, such a big throw. Not getting elite ar, sending the res cards so late, not gettting the bison age up, letting him get bison after his hunts dried up till he shifted base. Well, atleast you caught the fort with uts pants down and none of the Lion's artillery lived to pay their cost
As lakota main (granted my elo is average or below average), I'm kinda curious why you sent Great Hunter so late? At that point there was so little hunt left on the map so the hunting bonus is kinda wasted. I also would have sent North America Fur Trade Earlier since it gives you resources out of thin air, so it would extend the lifetime of your natural resources I'm also curious why you sent 1000 food instead of 12 bison and 20% hunting. I could understand going 1000f if you were doing an FI, but that 20% hunting in such a long game can make a huge difference for Lakota. I'm also unsure why you had so many vils (1/3) on the community plaza constantly instead of gathering res. Late game the extra XP trickle doesn't feel very good with the late shipment curve. I would also suggest having fur trade in your deck as lakota since you often end up with lots of surplus food. You're defintely a better player than me, but some of your decisions as Lakota just seem quite odd to me.
Most of my decisions were made based on pace and timing, which is why I was able to win the first fight pretty well, though I felt I couldn't capitalize too much off of it. Missing vet AR really hurt I think, unfortunately.
Soldiers real issue is he accidentally researched elite BR instead of AR, if he had elite axe riders those fights he had would have been won early much harder and he could have snowballed it.
Oof, Lion's 5 falcs didn't pay for themselves at all. That Spahi raid was devastating, I think you should learn a lesson to put a wall in a such a location, if it has narrow opening Or atleast put a Outpost Lion not getting the Mosque tech and hence missing out on his own vills for a while might have really saved your bacon Think him sticking to Abus rather than Falcs could have donr him better? Cause he could have kited your rods and skirms away?
@@micahbonewell5994 looks like Lion got outplayed in composition then through mass by that point Maybe he should have gone industrial turtle to get bombards then
I really think fur trade should be in more people's decks, even without advanced market, with todays meta of basically overgathering food it seems really valuable. I've recently started adding it to my Lakota decks and sending it in late Age 2 or Age 3, it's worked out really well for me so far.
I just come here after a guy reached age V in 4 minutes. Guess reaching age 2 in 5 minutes won't help me in competitive, but this guide is really helpful anyway. Gotta keep improving! Nice job man! :D
they had to have used cheats. Spanish hit AGE 3 using a Fast FF strat at like 6:30-7:30min mark. so idk how some1 would have the resources by 4min mark to hit age 5 lol. especially when Age 5 takes 4k meat and 4k gold.
With all cards keshik becomes the best dragoon in the game: 1 POP 331 HP 35% Range Resist 22.6 DMG @ 1.5 ROF with 4X vs Heavy CAV If u do the math against a normal, 2 POP, 3 ROF Dragoon, the stats are these: 662 HP 90,4 DMG with 4X vs Heavy CAV
I think China has no counter to this composition; musk + cav was the answer. This is why I believe they should have more access/upgrades to mercenaries and outlaws to fill the holes in their roster (and give them some flavour). They don't even have access to imperial mercs...
gg. I've been playing Spain against China, trying to make that lancer spam... Nervethless almost everytime "Old Han" composition beated me. Never tried it with unction... I think water was the differential factor in this game
Yep, you definitely needed Mongolian Scourge for your Keshiks, also it might make sense to have Atonement in your deck on maps with Wokou Horsemen to complement your goons or infinite 8 Keshiks. Chinas is pretty weak against heavy cav masses and lancers make it even worse since they counter HI as well. Late game they also struggle with training time since they don't have a church with training upgrades.
