I'm the only one that thinks this boss battle should have had the song "hatrið mun sigra" From Hatari (Eurovision 2019) it really suits the style of Troy
The twins werent that bad, Troy was my bl3's favorite character storywise and tyreen was my favorite designwise also the kick streamers controlling the psychos was a great idea, its just that riot games kidnapped anthony burch and without him, the story went bottom
Legit feel like reinstalling BL3 just to do this fight again (And that I got the dlc on the cheap, heard they were good). Loved this fight in it and it was admittedly more favoured than Tyreens fight in terms of challenge and the overall feel of it, made farming it a joy. Really felt like a final boss kind of vibe more than hers.
You're all talking about cool boss fight. It was cool indeed, but right somewhere before him I found fancy shotgun that ended it quite quickly.. But yeah, sick as hell. He was feeling sick as much
Easily the best ambience when you first enter the place. I really love Borderlands 3 OST, but when I first got into Jakobs estate, I stopped just to admire the ambience it has.
BY FAR the best and most beautiful stage, some of the best music easily, the best boss mechanics, yeah you’re right. One of the only bosses in the game that actually TRULY feels like a boss. Idc if we fight Tyreen there instead of Troy, keep everything else and it’s worthy of a final boss
"Vault Hunter! A robotic AI that lives in a fallen astronaut ripes human asses throwing giant coronaviruses and wants to kill a teddy bear" "Ava, how many beer have you drunk today?"
Ngl this boss theme is a banger but I legit can't hear it during the actual fight because Troy kept screaming from my shock damage attack. Why? I had a "protuberance" torgue gun with shock damage and that fight lasted me less than 10 minutes lmao
This planet and the music. This was the point when the game left me in awe completely right after being in awe when arriving at Promethia. The whole planet together with the soundtrack and ambience feel exactly like being on an alien planet. I also like that there's so much electronic music in the OST as I'm an lectronic music lover who appreciates more electronic music integrated in games.
In retrospect, the story was still crap, but the music and the gameplay was pretty good, and dear lord Troy is the one boss that shows it, his story had potential, however it fell flat on it's face, but the music and the fight itself was still good. As all the other people say in the comments as well, if they had kept the betrayal idea that was suggested in Eden-6 then maybe it could have been better. But we got this, and well, the fighting and the screaming was fine regardless.
