I was there. The Chelsea animals were disgusting. In the stand they held a Boro kid over the edge of the upper stand and threatened the dad they were going to drop him. They were attacking women, children and old people. It was the most vile display from cowardly arseholes I've ever seen at a football game.
And the next season we should have won the 1. division. The 5 points lost in the beginning of the season was the difference between being nr. 7 and being champions.💔
Yeah, the good old days of having some players out with injury and some players out doing a couple of months for drink driving... ah, to have them back again!
I believe this was the FA cup quarter final tie played at Anfield in March 1977. Souness signed for Liverpool in January 1978. People saying that Souness today would have struggled to stay on the pitch. Maybe. But he was such a gifted footballer that I'm sure he would have adapted to the modern game. Of course flipping it around. If today's players were transported back to 1977, I'm equally sure they would be asking to come off after 10 minutes and spending the next 6 months hiding under their mummy's bed. 😂
I feel him. I get he’s a PL footballer and should be sorting his feet out but I’ve missed goals like that before. It’s difficult when it’s drilled at you to get a clean connection on it.
Just loved this late 90s early 00's Boro Team :Ricard,Deane,Fleming Trio with Ince,Job,Vickers,Pallister,Karembeu and Capt. Cooper .Great gol from Deane Real :Raul,Morientes,Figo Trio a great goal and game from Makelele and Great Keeper Casillas. Three great goals The Old Days of Football! Thanks for Uploading have You got some other Boro's Full matches ?
To me the worst misses are when the player has time and space to pick their spot but still fluffs it, to be fair to Kanu here it looks like he's not expecting it and just hasnt got his feet in order.
I remember this match like yesterday. Liverpool were unbeaten the first 11/12 games till this point and couldn't muster a win over the next 11/12 games.
