What can one do if the shading behind is not closing between two trucks or AB line
@reichhardttraining
@reichhardttraining Год назад
Hi Michael. Are you missing coverage entirely, or are you just leaving behind "strips" between passes? The former requires implement geometry to be fully entered along with a functioning "recording source". The latter may require some adjustment to the implement width value assuming the space between guidance passes is not too large.

@@dionwadefarmsllc Hi Wade. About a year ago, the ITC's ability to support SF1 corrections had ended, making it unusable for AutoTrac. There may be other options available. I would suggest reaching out to your John Deere dealer for more information.

@@reichhardttraining yeah I heard tha same thing another farmer was telling me something . 😂 I wish I knew before I spent all dat money . But all I need is the mapping . Not to much worried about auto steer . It’s just mapping is what I need

@@dionwadefarmsllc Mapping shouldn't be a problem with the ITC as it can still get WAAS corrections. Just be sure that it is updated so it can properly acquire correction.

Good video but I have a question. In a 8225R I'm pulling a spreader with a teejet ISObus controller. I'm running it all through the screen. I have to flip pages from coverage to the spreader screen to access the on off button when I want to turn the spreader on and off. Can this be set up to run either the spreader page or even the guidance page through the command center screen that's on the armrest? What settings would I need on each screen? The spreader screen shows the lettered shortcut keys so I could navigate through it with the armrest buttons.

Thank you Jeremy. This video was primarily made to support GREEN FIT customers on 3rd party equipment (IE Fendt or Case Tractors) to get the 2630 and OEM display to "play nice", especially when negotiating which display is the acting server for a connected smart implement. Your scenario sounds a bit different. I'm not overly familiar with the TeeJet client, but if it's strictly running ISOBUS UT/VT, there are a few factors: 1. Is your command center tied to the same CANBUS as the TeeJet and 2630? If not, this likely would not be possible. 2. Is your command center display setup to support ISOBUS UT/VT or coverage? If not, this likely would not be possible. 3. If yes to both questions above, there should be a way to negotiate the command center as the primary UT/VT server, or there may be a setting in the TeeJet interface to push the UI to the command center. Even if this is possible, you still may be in a situation where it has to operate as a full screen run page and toggled back and forth between ISO UT/VT and tractor operations. The only other thing I can think of would be a direct input to the TeeJet module for toggling spreader on/off, but that's a question for your dealer on the spreader. Another option could be to add another display, but that probably defeats the purpose. It's worth noting that on a 4640 display, you can run VT/UT split-screen with coverage, just in case this is an option for you.

@@reichhardttraining I figured it out. I got the Teejet to show up on the command center display and I can now use the 2630 for the guidance. Works good, I can now just push the H button on the armrest to turn it on and off instead of flipping home pages and I can also keep an eye on the spreader performance while still having a view of the variable rate map on the 2630.

Thanks for the video. There is a JD isobus manual that talks about isobus priority. Changing the VT number also changes priority? I'm having a display lockdown when in enable my TC in the ECU
@reichhardttraining
@reichhardttraining 3 года назад
Thank you Juan. Regarding VT number vs. priority, I'd need to know more details on the TC Client and what other displays (IE 3rd party) are on the ISOBUS as different devices handle this differently. In general, if you have two displays, you will want the preferred display to be set as #1. However, it really can vary based on the configuration of the other components. This menu in the GreenStar is a tool to accommodate other components, however, it is sometimes preferred to disable overlapping functionality in the 3rd party devices/displays.

@@reichhardttraining Hi, thanks for the qick reply. Its a topcon ECU Apollo seeder (CM-40), connected to the tractor isobus, and the reihard and GS3 console. The autopilot works great but when i plug the apollo seeder ecu, the GS3 goes into a lockdown that only recovers when I unplug the topcon apollo. Then, I go to the GS3 multiple displays page, turn off the TC Server, replug the apollo, turn off the TC Client in the topcon, and then reboot. The system works great but if i want coverage logging, I need the apollo TC Client communicating with the GS3 TC Server.

@@JuanIgnacioPucheu Hi Juan. What tractor is this in? Is there a TC-Server in the OEM display as well? If so, we may need to disable it. Then try to turn on the TC Server/Client of the GreenStar/TopCon. Also, have we confirmed the Server (GreenStar) and Client (TopCon) are otherwise compatible? Is a GreenStar Software version update needed? Just a few things to try.
