Hey, the Woodlands backup qb wasn't bad. It was way too close for my liking. The delay from Thursday night (bad storm) to saturday afternoon made this an epic day for football. Best damn game. Proud Willis alum, class of 1982.
One of the most dominant and complete high school football teams I’ve ever seen in my life. To me, 2021 Austin Westlake was not only the best team in the country that year, that very well could’ve been one of the 5 greatest Texas teams of all time.
Good run by Blair. Hope he develops into a sprinter-WR at the collegiate level and beyond. He's 6 ft 2 and he beat the 6ft 6in giant Nyck Harbor. Nyck is projected to be the next Megatron.
This here is the blueprint. For many things like how we should carry ourselves as young men. How to be solutions not problems How families should embrace a come together etc…
Damn even the whiteboys in Texas are fast!! I don’t usually bring up race, this is more about me giving Texas its prop, I’m from California and our team went 39.9 but still lost to Wyatt Tx when they ran 39.8 in the 1998 Junior Olympics, Matching there H.S. national record that stood until this year
It’s all relative. Tons of out of state moveins down here . Plenty of fast kids of all flavors since the 80’s when I was in HS. Those who can move here try to go to the swanky and best programs, so they add more to the juice. Crazy money and time thrown at it all. Woodlands has always had moveins from across the nation since it was built way back in the day. Plenty of other schools get the same love. The school where I live probably has 1/2 enrollment who were not born in Texas. Last 4-5 years, +- 90% of home buyers near me with out of state plates.
I wish you had more videos from this meet. I wonder why The Woodlands 4x100 had a 47s time when they have been around high 40 to 41 most of the season. Also noticed in the results that Perry Watkins didn't run the 100m but he was in this race.
Im from ohio and having over 4000 thousand students in insane that would never happen in ohio duncanville should have 3 highschools this is why in ohio its the cath schools that usually dominate because if a school district is big they have multiple highschools instead of having one big sçhool like ducanville over 4 thousand kids is just ridiculous
UT men's 4x100 relay won their event. They would have got second in the HS division of the Victor Lopez Invitational a week earlier and it wouldn't have been close.
Widen your splits on the O'line. This isnt gradeschool. Heck noone could run thru there... You can't tell me that Trinity doesn't have the athletes. Could they beat Westlake? Not today, but geez. Give your backs some room to run...
Gilmer's Will Tomahawk Henderson is a bad, bad, man. He put the offense on his back with Tennison (Gilmer's QB) having a very unusual off day. Caden Tennison missed 3 or 4 TD passes, passes he usually hits. Ta'erick Tate got behind the defense all day, and Tennison was able to hit him only once right before the half. That was a dime, and the ones he missed should've been. Henderson is a football baller that runs track, not a track guy playing football. That was very evident in this game. Henderson is the reigning 4A state champion in the 100 meter dash (10.28). Some college will be getting a really fast and tenacious player that can play RB, DB, or even a kick returner. All it will take for Henderson to be more of a major college RB is a nutrition program that will help him gain about 20 pounds or more while keeping his elite speed. He gets one step on anybody and nobody will catch him. As a Buckeye fan, I am going to really miss the Tomahawk running the football and Tate getting behind DBs and safeties on a regular basis. Tate also runs a leg on the reigning state champion 4A 4x100 relay team.
