There is a very noticeable evolution that starts at Michael Vick, goes to Vince Young, and is now at Lamar Jackson. Large, athletic, tough, and blindingly fast QBs that can be their own running back and get shit done all by themselves. Vince Young took after Vick, and whether he knows it or not, Jackson is now taking after Young.
I used to like the Big 12, but over time some of the referee calls just sank my enthusiasm for the conference. Defensive line holding - which does not exist. Oklahoma QB not down when he clearly fumbled. I could not take it. Big 12 has to declare it's refs to be honest and fair.
Umm, Earl, Ricky, '84 defense... yeah Young is probably the best cough Arch Manning cough but there were a lot of good dudes before this. Hell, my earliest memory is my dad screaming "F... yes" when Stonie stoned OU. Anyway, Hook 'em! Edit: all this said I would pay my weight in gold to watch Robison hit Bomar again and again and again.
Couldn’t agree more. My plan was to add to it as people suggested different things, but I lost all of my videos somehow. Hopefully one day I can make a better video 🤘🏼
Man I miss this team. That was a fun year of baseball as a red sox fan either know they didn't win it all that year, no one expected them to even make it to the ALCS. Great run they went on but just ran out of steam
We didn't win the Sugar Bowl (I was there) but this season made me feel alive for the first time in a while from start to finish as a Texas fan. I was at the Rice game and the Big 12 Championship as well. Teared up at winning the conference on our way out. This was a beautiful season despite the two blemishes. At least we are losing to the correct teams now and are playing at the level we should be.
Fighting Joe Kelly…. Never forget coming into the park and he was on the Fenway faithful sales guys outside the park and that was the cover and that was the bumper sticker. Too many, way too many but that one stuck out in my mind I don’t know why, this ownership better step up its game
Thank you man. I really appreciate the compliment. Just trying to put a highlight video out there for all the Longhorns fans 🤘🏼🤘🏼 glad it turned out well
Big 12 Championship, CFP appearance, and we had a chance at the end even with playing like absolute dog shit the entire game. Doesn’t take anything away from the season we had. It was an amazing ride, and it’s still Hook’em for life. We’ll be back 🤘🏼
Lfg from the top to the bottom and rising back to the top again! Ever struggle with addiction you can overcome look at Steve Sarkisian. You are who you want to be in this world. In 2024 the only thing stopping you from what you want to be is you! You must overcome
Outstanding video. I have been a Longhorns fan all the way back to 1974, my freshman year in High School. South Park, Beaumont TX. I have watched every game this season, and it is apparent that Steve Sarkisian's plan is paying off some very long awaited dividends. He has built and motivated this Longhorns team into playing way into, and above their potential. The loss to Oklahoma was a revenge game for them, but they eventually fell out of picture anyway. We finished the season with decisive victories over good teams and own our last (maybe) Big XII Championship. We are far from done. This is the year that Texas re-establishes itself among the College Football Elite. Sark has had this planned all along. Over the past 3 years, Coach Sark has built this team to win. An entirely new culture. A better way of thinking on and off the field. It has proven out this season. And it will be lasting formula for the next years to come, regardless of what happens on Jan 1st, and beyond into 2024. We are witnessing our Texas Longhorns return to the National spotlight. We might even have a National Championship Trophy to show for it this season. HOOK EM HORNS!!!!!!
Couldn’t have said it any better myself. I think Sark has set us up for success this year and the years to come. Recruiting is at an elite level, and the culture is at an all time high, and the players are bought into the system and the coaching staff, which goes a long way into having a great team. I also think this is the team that gets Texas back to the National conversation, only this time we aren’t leaving. I also think this is the year we finally hoist that National Championship trophy up on January 8th, after a LONG 14 year wait. Then we can celebrate and watch as they light the tower burnt orange 🤘🏼
@@CapeFear1 big swing and a miss. Florida State was undefeated, but losing Jordan Travis is a big blow and they’re not better than Texas without him, nor are they one of the best 4 teams. Ohio State still can’t beat Michigan and they weren’t a conference champion, so definitely not better, Georgia isn’t the same team as they have been the last 2 seasons, so they’re out, and OU did beat Texas, but also lost to Kansas and Okie State, which I believe is 2 losses, which is more than 1. They also did not win the conference, where Texas did. 1 loss conference champion > 2 loss non conference champion 🤷🏻♂️
Beautiful 2023 re-cap highlight video! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK CHOSEN IN RELATIONS TO THE VIDEO ACTION! Masterfully done! Absolutely impeccable! The Horns are ready for this playoff! 1st victim, Washington.
Amazing video man, thanks so much for making it! Will definitely share this around with the fellow longhorns. Sorry to bother, could you link the video of the interview you had at the start of the video? I've never seen that one and it sounds like a great listen. Thanks again for the awesome video!
Thank you man, I really wanted a video out there that detailed the season. I’m glad it turned out as well as it did. Definitely worth watching, and I think it shows why we’re in the position we’re in currently. Hook’em 🤘🏼🤘🏼 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jDpcmT7uR3Q.html&pp=ygULcXVpbm4gZXdlcnM%3D
I had to stop watching and comment. Editing Sark's "Culture" speech into the end of the K-State and TCU games was fucking brilliant! Love this video. Going to finish now.
