Please take a look at a dyno sheet of this car/ engine. You will see that it has maximum torque already at around 4300 rpm. So in my opinion, its best to keep the rpm in the range of 4500 to 6000 rpm for the engine to operate most effectively.
@@nkls.Maybe it's just me, but I feel like if I shift before 6, it's alright, feels like the acceleration slowed a bit but if I shift after 6, it feels smoother idk how to say it
@@colaguy213 Yes, it's possible that it has the same acceleration up until around 6400 rpm. But torque is already declining fast there. It definitely doesn't make sense to rev it up to 7k. I think the engine screaming at you at these high rpms gives you the feeling that the acceleration is better than it actually is.
I'm sorry, I just looked in the TET App to see where I went exactly, but the first section I rode sadly is not available anymore. It went from Nothweiler to Grémecey. From Grémecey I rode on what is now Section 13 northbound (to Schengen), but the video ends at the Étang de la Mutche.
