Founded in or before 1855, Lewis Merthyr Band is the oldest musical ensemble from South Wales' Rhondda valleys. The band has performed with Sir Bryn Terfel and Sir Geraint Evans, for the Six Nations Championships & Rugby World Cup at the Principality Stadium & Cardiff Arms Park, and in concert at the Wales Millennium Centre, St David's Hall, Llangollen Pavilion, Royal Albert Hall, across the nation and internationally. We hope you enjoy the videos here and look forward to welcoming you to a Lewis Merthyr event soon.

Rhosyn Saron yw Ei enw, Gwyn a gwridog, hardd Ei bryd! Ar ddeng mil y mae'n rhagori O wrthddrychau penna'r byd; Ffrind pechadur! Ffrind pechadur! Dyma'r llywydd ar y môr. Dyma'r llywydd ar y môr. Beth sydd imi mwy a wnelwyf Ag eilunod gwael y llawr? Tystio 'r wyf nad yw eu cwmni I'w gymharu a'm Iesu Mawr. O, am aros! O, am aros! Yn Ei gariad ddyddiau f'oes! Yn Ei gariad ddyddiau f'oes!
