Uhhh I just read the first comment saying hedgehogs can’t have mealworms and this is news to me. Fed mine mealworms his whole life as well as every other hedgehog owner I know and none got metabolic bone disease. They’re not the best nutritionally and obviously shouldn’t be the only food you give them but giving some mealworms is fine and it doesn’t mess with the calcium absorption. I was so confused by that I even googled it to double check just in case I was wrong and I can’t find a single source saying mealworms prevent calcium absorption in hedgehogs anywhere besides that one person claiming that. Not saying they’re wrong just that’s not been my experience and I can’t find a single source verifying that claim
Just had a hog family move in, first time. I generally have dizens of goffers, wild cats, flock of chikens, and the coyotes pack lives up the creek. Not many deer or rabbits in the vally.
there's blue that breaks the sound barrier and fights a egg with a fox echidna and a bunch of other animals and turns yellow sometimes and black one time and a bunch of other colors one time
what a lovely video :) just so you know, hedgehogs will only eat slugs if they are starving as slugs are hosts to lungworm which will kill a hedgehog once contracted! also the best thing to feed hedgehogs is complete cat biscuits with meat listed as the first ingredient. sunflower hearts and other seeds are actually dangerous to hedgehogs and can cause serious bone conditions in them which eventually lead to death.
@@WillWalterPhotography yes i will be around too, there's a lot of young stags around at the moment so should be good, the Fallow buck antlers look awesome at the moment too.
Just discovered your channel and I'm very impressed with your progress (comparing your old and new videos). Your videos are great and your photography is very skilled and advanced for your age. Keep on going and please thank your parents or guardians for supporting you in this hobby.
hi man this truly means a lot, sorry for the lack of videos ive been working all summer but this week i have some days off so hopefully ill get out and hopefully find some wildlife to photograph !
Hey thank you very much, i loved the 7d very good camera for the price however if you have the money i would definitely go for the mark 2 as it has much more modern features but the 7 d can still hold its own in todays market in my opinion
@@WillWalterPhotography lmao thanks for the suggestion. İ already got the 7d like a month ago and find it really good suits my needs. Waiting for new videos as always
Cracking video will, with regards to feeding I think if its already dead (road kill, natural death) or it was a pest at a local area, I do think we should make an effort to feed these bigger birds as it helps them out and because nobody can argue against feeding the big birds, if you feed the garden birds its the same principle, end of. I would also like to see more hide videos as they are great.
I completely agree and couldn't have said it any better myself. There will be more videos from the hide to come and hopefully I will manage to get some pictures of the buzard next time!
Aha thank you, I am talking to a production company that has been doing some big netflix documentarys and I will be hopefully going in for work experience there. But it all depends on the covid situation. Hope you enjoyed the video!
