It's because it was made just for concerts and seems rushed at parts and a different animator made the extended parts with permission from the original animator to modify it. Alstroemeria Records likely decided not to release it because it's not perfect
Idk if I would say "complete". The original PV is complete and what is shown at concerts is an expansion for the full song Made by an unknown animator with permission from anira (source from an interview with anira in 2010, also same year as the first showing of the extended version)
@@YuutaTogashi0707 yeah that's true ! I should have said "parts of the PV made to match the full version of the song". It's noticeable that it's a different animator, the quality seems a bit "lower" than the original but still looks very cool. Also, do you by any chance know how the original PV (by anira) was made ? Nobody seems to have that information online.

Also anira made every model in 1-2 days and anira made reimu first then copy pasted the model to edit it into other touhou characters All the renders have a white background and black models and the inverted scenes are done with editing @@Lunil
Also this new animator probably is a friend of anira The marisa model is slightly different when the extended part plays but everything else is the same and the physics flow the same The physics are a bit faster and extra shirt physics were added and marisa is holding the apple a tiny bit farther away and the reisen model is the same as anira's but with different hair the other models seem to be made by the new animator Also the aliasing disappears when the extra marisa part plays, meaning it's a new render MMD didn't have anti-aliasing when anira was making the animation but in the summer of 2010 it was added (Also the summer of 2010 is when the first concert to show the extended version happened) I have some more evidence of MMD being the software used @@Lunil
A friend helped make a really good deinterlaced version It's 60fps with the animation on the screens still in 30 (probably what was intended) but idk how to make non-HD videos 60fps on youtube
it looks like youtube only supports 720p and higher with 60fps, 480p doesn't have 60fps on RU-vid (you can have 144p with 60fps, RU-vid just doesn't allow this)
I thought the DVD quality was going to be better but even before youtube compression the compression artifacts were already visible Also it seems that RU-vid automatically deinterlaced the video I didn't know youtube could do that
The animation is a bit out of sync on the main screen (also the others screen are CGI and aren't actually there in person) You can tell by Akyuu not lip syncing at the right time 3:55 The animation seems to be 0.250 seconds too late
I'm going to fix the timing with this and use a higher quality video for animelo summer live 2010 (bottom) and nico nico daikaigi final 2011 (top right) I can't find a higher quality video for nico nico super party 2 Last Night Carnival (top left)
Why is this so long? It sounds like 2 different songs and the instrumental for both of them. Is that why? I know the first one is Inside Identity the 1st ending of the series. But what’s the 2nd one?
