Are you looking for a new game but, are "clueless" as to how to find one?
You don't need to be intimidated by those Game Stores. Make an educated choice. Get a CLUE.
C = Components (what's in the box) L = Length (how long is this game) U = Uniqueness (does this game have something in common with one you already know) E = Ease (easy to learn, play, find, afford)

In June I’m going to Northern Wisconsin to my college friend’s lake house. A reunion of five college friends. Must haven’t seen in close to 45 years. Have a recommendation for fun casual game that I can send to her and maybe we can play it when we are there.
I have very few “expansions”. Even some are ones that play alone. Eg. Ticket to Ride UK/PA. I only have 2 expansions that increase games to 5/6 players.
I like puzzle games but Dixit is one of my favorites too. I like 2 player games so that I can get my husband to play with me. We like Azul, Jaipur, & Schotten Totten right now. My 8 year old and I love Ghost Fighting Treasure Hunters. 👻
Thanks. Nov/Dec were very busy. 74+ hrs a week. 😳 And last week we did some disaster assistance for a town nearby that was hit by a tornado. But, I did manage 22 plays/16 games with 8 family members during Christmas vacation.
Thanks for the overview! I was trying to learn more about the game before purchasing it for the upcoming holidays to play with family and your video helped a lot, much appreciated!
Thank you. Clue was the game I fell in love with at age 9. It woke me to the love of games. I decided to use it as an acrostic for the channel. I’ve been lax in the last 2 weeks. Hope to get some more recorded tomorrow. I have so many new games and lists to get up. Hope you continue to enjoy.
Just FYI this game is crazy fast. After 12 plays so far (2-3 players), average time is 10 minutes per game. Longest play was 22 minutes and that was 3 players teaching a non hobby gamer. Most plays are just under 10 minutes.
I got a chance to try this at the retreat and thought it was pretty fun. I just got a copy in the mail from AEG and tried out the solo last night. The solo works pretty well and felt reasonably similar to the multiplayer game. Played in about 20-30 minutes both solo and at 4 players.
@@getaclue-casualgamer same! It was great meeting you earlier this month. I see five as well from the retreat; Cryptid, Walking in Burano, Sea Salt & Paper, Rome in a Day, and So Clover.
It is a bit next level from Point Salad, but, truthfully, you might get away with playing it like PS, just with new theme. At least until your 6 yr old gets used to the new look. Good luck, and happy gaming.
Thank you for your comment. I just happened to see it while at a table talking with a rep for AllPlay (the publisher). I read your comment to him. There are a couple more game videos, in the same series, coming up w/in this week.
Lol. I was trying to not get in trouble by using that title. But, it really was my first choice for the name. 🎶 I’m turning Japanese, I think I’m turning Japanese, I really think so🎶
The sad thing about Chai Tea for Two is that it will never be available based on the Kickstarter updates from what I understood. The publisher went out of business and backers aren't getting their games. 😞 The only people that I know who have it at this point were the ones that got a prototype copy.
@@getaclue-casualgamer yeah, it's a tough one. I hope someone buys it out and finishes the project. But right now it seems like the backers are just out the money. I've heard that people that tried the prototypes really enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing your list. Since you love deduction games, have you played Sid Sackson's Sleuth? It's kind of like a card game version of Clue where you are trying to figure out what the hidden gem is. It came out in the early 70's.
There are so many great games with flowers in them. I also love Floriferous and Ohanami. I am also a fan of Flourish which I feel like doesn't get a lot of love these days.
