Jean-Paul Stevens no, I only bought this solar 7 when it first came out. All I can say is that it’s neck feels like and Ibanez . Feels really well built. Also it took them like 11 months to build it.
wow! is the triple rec being played at bedroom volume?? it sounds badass!! and i was told it would sound like crap at lower volumes, your video say otherwise.
Cool cool, glad it helped... I honestly don't even use the multi watt switch... The full 150w sounds better than cutting the power back to 50w., even at lower volumes.... If you do buy one, buy a overdrive pedal. I use a protone dead horse overdrive. It's the finishing touch 👌🏼
Absolutely love it man. Never goes out of tune, even with a new set of strings. Has a real heavy/dark tone but articulate. Feels comfortable to play.... My only complaint would be the volume knob being so close to the strings
Jean-Paul Stevens No boost, just straight plug in... Im using a Protone Deadhorse deluxe pedal now. Made a huge difference imo. I tried the Maxon 808 but it wasn't THAT much of a difference compared to the Deadhorse.
yeah i can imagine..for a saturated metal tone i have to use a clean boost for my solar distortion pup axe( dual rectro)...my other axe is active so i dont need the clean boost...lovely tone with clean boost on my solar tho..i agree
The guitar itself is flat out awesome. Neck is super smooth and thin/fast! only thing i had to get use to was the scale length is rather big, but i can see why because of how much low end it handles. I believe there were only 100 of these made, all others are a class lower if im not mistaken (no floyde rose) Mine came with BKP's but the newer ones come with seymour duncan distortions which are awesome too. I feel that the BKP's give a huge variety of sound vs the duncan distortions.
Hello, just wondering what you think of the guitar and pickups? I've been trying to find one for sale and can't seem to find much on the solar 7. Does it come with the BKP pickups in it? Anyways great playing. Maybe you would get a better tone if you had the iPhone between you and the amp so you would pick up less noise coming directly from the strings and more of the sound coming from the amp. Just a thought, maybe i'm completely wrong haha.
i want to get a hex seven but ive heard that access to the higher frets is pretty uncomfortable and that the tones for the highs are not good, what your opinion
Hey, I'm considering to buy this guitar as well, and I was wondering, how thick is the neck actually ? Like what is the actual measurement for the thickness of the neck?
