I am mesmerized by his total perfection of masculinity.A powerfully built but proportionate body, great legs ,feet ,arms, breadth of chest , shoulders and torso to legs, and handsome.
ADAMZHAN has a very rich stage presence in sync with the magnificent style this Pas de deux calls for. The variation reminiscent of the great Vladimir VASILIEV version works perfectly for ADAMZHAN with standout dedans pirouettes and a marvelous closing coda with electric power jumps. Congratulations!!! PETIPA APPROVED 🎉!!!

Brilliant performance and Postkishvili is exceptional. But why do a few girls in the audience have to scream like they're at a Chippendales party ? Until a few years ago, you only heard this in competitions, with the contestants being "supported" by the screams of their fans, but now you hear it in theaters too. It's vulgar and disturbing.
It's quite boorish really. They don't act like they have been there before. They are new at this and don't get the subtleness of ballet. All ballet moves are fantastic, so you don't applaude and show appreciation to the dancers until the end.
I think Petipa and especially Gorsky would approve of this magnificent flash display choreography of two couples auditioning for the leading roles 👏!!! BRAVISSIMO!!!
SUPERNOVA: "The colossal explosion of a STAR." This is exactly what GEORGI POTSKHISVILI is.. The PRIZE here besides the extraordinary techniques is the truth of pure artistry evident in all the in-between touches he applies, enriching the famous ALI role. Vestiges of this magnificent place in Ballet, Georgi currently has traveled back in time in tribute to his Georgian compatriot and fellow past supernova VAKHTANG CHABUKIANI who himself created a great variety of Ballet steps during his days in the Kirov Ballet. My wish role for the new Premier Danseur Noble is "SPARTAKUS." I hope genius Yuri GRIGOROVICH is available to offer GEORGI the role and coach him with the help of the original VLADIMIR VASILIEV. What a thrill and privilege to witness such a marvelous talent named GEORGI POTSKHISVILI... He makes Ballet BETTER!!!! BRAVO!!!BRAVISSIMO!!!
I've always found it disappointing that this waltz is never used in most versions of Don Quixote, it is definitely one of the little known and rarely heard gems from Minkus's score for Don Quixote (another is the complete, unedited original coda of the famous Don Quixote pas de deux).
Do we actually have names for some of the unusual steps in the male variations, esp Ali? I thought Vasiliev made up his own steps lol. OMG what a tour de force!
How fun! The trio-format must be closer to the original version in the full-length ballet. However, Potskhishvili is throwing in a lot of exciting new tricks.
