I made this for my dad’s birthday party this last weekend and I used thick shaved Parmesan. It came out really good but I never lowered the heat and tore up the bottom of my pan 😂
I don't like needing to skim off the oil, so I use a lot less in the first place. Never tried it with veges cut almost paste like. Looking forward to trying a version this tomorrow.
Making this tonight with my own little twist ✨ I didn’t do celery, but I added in some mushrooms. And I didn’t do plain water on the chicken, I did chicken bouillon broth. It’s currently simmering & I can’t keep myself from lifting the lid & peeking at it. 😂💀
Ur area must be giving food away if that cost ten bucks to make. In L.A, the chicken alone is 10 to 12 dollars. Seasoning another $6. Each ingredient is about another $7. Water and oil if u dont have any. Plus tax. At least $30 or more. You aint getting anything for ten bucks in L.A.
I got all the ingredients yesterday to make this but I'm doing shrimp and sausage??? What do yall think? I've never in my l8fe had gumbo. Here about it alot.i got slap yo mamma and Tony's what's better?
The best jambalaya ive made was made with homemade chicken broth. It was so dang good! Cant have shrimp in mine so i use 2 kinds of sausage and some chicken. Though i did use fish one time and that was OK.😊
