I became one again, a month ago. It's one of the best feeling, like when we give birth to our children. Beautiful plant, for a beautiful sista! What's the name of your new baby? I meant plant😊🙏🙏💚🕊😇
People really do place a lot of rules on locs but doing what works for you will ALWAYS be best. Your locs look beautiful. And tbh your first retwist you did yourself looks good. Great video!
Wow welcome to the loc’d community! I used to watch all of your natural hair stuff a while ago when i was a loose natural ! And was curious how your journey was going lol , so happy to see the update !
yes you do like doing you never mess up that i see ah ha you have messed up. i love your ambition. but yeah we also learn by our mistakes. then when you want a moment of relaxing go to shop, otherwise you got this i had no doubt. you did a marvelous job
Washing your hair helps with the locking process! It’s so wild to me that ppl say not to wash your hair 😅 also scalp care is important for a healthy set of locs
I went to go get my starter locs retwisted the lady charged so much then she washed my hair for literally 10 seconds then charged me extra because she said i had over 75 locs 😐 then had the nerve to tell me to rebook her for the next two weeks i was like oka...NOT! I retwist my own now
welcome to the loc community! some advice i would give is that less is more! as well as.. 1)Water/ rose water for moisture, any oil of your choice and aloe vera gel for retwisting (it’s water based and will not leave any build up like wax can😉) 2) take lots of pictures and videos for memory sake and motivational purposes 3) do your best to think positive and involve a lot of self love during the journey 4) be patient 5) have fun 😊
I came to see the month to month growth. I cut my hair in a medium fade from shoulder length...it was just time...there was damage and i tried to cut it myself with disastrous results so i had it professionally cut. Never had a fade before so i just wanted to get an idea of what its gonna look like as it grows out.
