Miku is a very commonly occurring character in iwbtg fangames, the reason for this iirc can be attributed to i wanna be the lovetrap as it was the first game to feature her
some notes i had: i actually had this same idea in the past, but due to my lack of super nintendo and smw knowledge i was unable to make it a reality. so its super cool to see that someone also thought the same! kinda wish that the savepoints looked like how they were in the original iwbtg, where you have to shoot them. i can understand that having that would probably require a new save system however and would be a lot of work, so its not implemented. this would be even better if it had renditions of home sweet grave and the game over jingle. speaking of game overs, where is the manual restarting? oh wait, having a game over popup would be a lot of text, which takes up a lot of memory for other things. oh well. edit: turns out that the rom has more content, havent finished it yet
LOVE it! "I Wanna Be The Boshy" is the reason I originally got into speedrunning, haha. Seeing Witwix do it at AGDQ 2015 was what kicked it all off for me. He kept betting 50 dollars of his friend's money on every death haha, it was a great run. This is gonna be super fun. And finally, a Kaizo-y hack that I actually want to try, and for the same reason as Boshy -- it looks hard, but there's enough save points that you only lose a screen or two on death. I love that. Really looking forward to this! (PS: I just typed this out and it all disappeared when I submitted it, so here's hoping that there's not two of the exact same comments by me when RU-vid figures out where that other one went, haha).
