Hi. After he shuts down the engine. There is an electrical type whistle sound. It starts at 0:15 and continues until 0:23 when he moves away. What is that? I have the same sound on my XC60, diesel, 2016. It goes on for a while then stops after about 30 sec. Any idea?
Hi Catalin, from what I understood it's a valve that has to be replaced. The membrane of the valve is generating the sound. The cost is arround 160 euro. I had the problem at my S60 2012, now I have an xc60 facelift and starded to do the same but at a lower sound level. If you are from Bucharest there are 2 shops where you can solve the issue, the guys knows about this general problem at volvo. Good luck!
That first noise is what I'm trying to figure out on my car. Finally found a video with the same noise as my car but he doesn't acknowledge it and goes to some other noise. Nooooo!¡!
It seems that there are no solutions to fix tramlining. It's normal for R17 and above rims. Yes, if you do a downgrade to R16 rims maybe this effect will disappear. I will buy R16 rims for winter tires and I will see if there will be any changes.
