@@Krizels.Diaryy 😂Gotcha. I honestly didn’t ask. They told me they start everyone on base pay centered around age. So if you were under 18 you got $10 an hour, and it went up if you were older. That was a while ago, and I’ve asked for raises therefore I make a lot more now. But I would say anything from $13-$15 is appropriate now for starting out.
Hey, I just started working at chick fil a. I was first out on register and I have some trouble remembering everything since I was not familiar with the menu. Have any tips? The buttons are pretty confusing to me rn.
Honestly most of it is just muscle memory and reps. But one thing I do is to try and squeeze small talk and brief questions while taking orders… this gives you more time to put the order in and make sure it’s correct. Make sure to ask a coworker if you don’t remember something with the buttons, and hopefully over time you’ll get better.
This is sort of satire… but from my little bit of experience, adding a level of seriousness to your situation and conversation can help you get a raise especially when you are young. Full Video- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3VvTiXhjzkw.htmlsi=dTT5Oo7WWgJIlj0g
It’s all good bro. I would say it’s normal for most people to go through a phase in life like this. You’ll get through it! Pray about it, and keep your head up. You got this.
A lot of the struggles for my friends and I seem to feel like they’re never gonna end man. Ecclesiastes was one of the first books I read in the Bible and it gave me a sense of relief knowing that things felt meaningless for others as well. It points to the meaninglessness of material possessions and pleasures. I would encourage you to read it if you’re going through a difficult time in your life. Here it is below if you would like to read it… Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. 9 What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. Keep you’re head up and eyes forward bro you got this.
