Great video. Without question, GTD is one of the top business books of all time. Here are 10 additional points to incorporate into your GTD plan: 1. Time block on a digital calendar all of your activities. Send alerts to your iPhone or smart watch to remind you. 2. Your digital note taking app such as OneNote will be your best friend. Capture all of your notes, information, activities, digital images in this app. Your emails and computer hard drive are not easily searchable. 3. At the end of each day, review your day and set up your schedule for tomorrow. You can still do your weekly review, but you need to schedule your top activities the night before. 4. Scan and upload into the cloud all your paper documents. All your digital documents should also be stored in the cloud. 5. Complete your most important activities in the morning. 6. If you are not making progress on an activity, then hire an expert or a delegate to an employee. Having people in your life definitely helps to get things done. Sometimes you are not motivated enough to complete task on your own. 7. Use the pomodoro method to focus on an activity. Highly effective. 8. Engage in an activity for just 10 minutes. Once you start, which is the hardest part, then momentum will kick in. 9. Listen to RU-vid videos on your project topic as much as possible. By doing so you will become more comfortable on the task. 10. Limit your activities to just 3 per day. During more will overwhelm you. Look at your calendar as much as possible during the day.

I really like this video when I watched it some time ago. I ran across it again right now, and I enjoyed watching it again. I have read a lot about GTD, and this video seems to me to be a very concise and accurate presentation. The only thing I would change is to slow down the pacing of the presentation, since it gives a lot of very important information to be absorbed.
@emelielindstroem
@emelielindstroem 4 месяца назад
Wow that's amazing that you have watched it twice! Thank you so much! 😊 it is really difficult to get the pacing at the right level because I could easily talk about this topic for 45, but it could probably be condensed to a high-level 5 min summary as well
@NanceClearwater
@NanceClearwater 4 месяца назад
@@emelielindstroem Your video is what was amazing because you gave a clear presentation that made sense. There is a lot to the GTD method, so doing that clearly in any amount of time is not easy. Thanks again for such a thoughtful presentation!
